My experience is based on ordering at the Kiosk and eating at the outside table. The restaurant is proud of their best Jerusalem Mix (Meorav). I ordered the Meorav tray meal with one side and a drink for 82 NIS or about $28 at the time of writing. I selected a size of rise and beans. The portions were generous but the all thing is too dry. I would expecting to get a mix of salads on the side but no, none of that. Maybe the restaurant inside is a different experience or maybe if you order a pita you get the mix juicy flavors you expect from a Meorav, but the tray is poor at best and I won't try again. There are much better dining options around, stay clear.

Fabulous meat restaurant in the heart of Mahane Yehudah area. Typical Israeli steakiya with a multitude of salads included with your dinner. Food was delicious.

Ofer our server is very friendly and explained the dishes well. We had the veal kebab, chicken breast and spring chicken platters. The condiment spread was delicious too. A must eat at place.

Hatzot is an iconic and authentic Israeli restaurant which has been open since the 1970s. The restaurant decor brings you back in time. The walls of the restaurant are covered with photos of many famous people who have dined there over the years. The service was great and the food was plentiful. We had a good meal and left feeling full. Hatzot is famous for its Jerusalem mixed grill consisting of liver, heart, spleen and bits of lamb and onion. Not my cup of tea but if you like that sort of dish then this restaurant is definitely the place for you. For reviews and more follow my account on Instagram @dining_withdina Hope to see you there 😍

The food at chatzot was nothing short of spectacular, especially loved the entrecote topped with goose liver. The wait staff was attentive and delicious dessert to top it off. A repeat visit is a must!
