We have a feast. It was just the two of us but we ordered udang telur asin, cumi saus padang, taoge ikan asin, kerapu bakar and kangkung terasi. For me kerapu was the main star!!! It was so big, thick, and the sauce marinated so well into the fish. Udang telur asin was mandatory if you come to this place! Cumi saus padang was just okay, because it was quiet hard to chew. Taoge ikan asin was very very very best companion to eat seafood, but kangkung terasi was somehow taste a little bit bland. Kinda disappointed with kangkung. The service was nice and fast! This place can keep their quality, because it’s been 3 years since the last time i went here and it was all just the same!
Pro : price, portion, saos padang Cons : taste Price : 3.5/5 (affordable) Taste : 4/5 Cleanliness : 3.5/5 Portion : 4/5 (medium) Note : baked fish is too cooked, resto is too crowded, however their saos padang is probably on of the best Always follow my review, it's always objective.
safe place to have the taste of ocean, fresh, sweet, and all staffs are so quick and friendly. they have many dishes on the menu, so you have many choices. their chili paste is so niceeee, love that. would come back soon! recommended
great atmosphere, SCRUMPTIOUS foods, the staffs were all ready to help and very fast at managing our needs.
The first red flag was that there were no prices on the menu, which I unfortunately ignored. I thought, how expensive could a small shack be? Turns out, very expensive. I was charged 431,000 IDR for one fish, five prawns, and one coconut. Jakarta in general feels very affordable, but this place is a complete rip-off. Definitely not worth it. What makes it worse is that when you point this out, they just smile—clearly this is how they operate. Would not recommend to anyone. They will rip you off.
