I usually come here mainly for brunch and their bagels, which are definitely the highlight for me. The bagels are always worth it and exactly what I keep coming back for. The other menu items are also pretty good. The only downside is the waiting list can be quite long, which can be a bit of a mood killer sometimes. But if you manage to get a seat, it’s still a great spot for a nice brunch.

Union is one of those places that never disappoints. No matter which branch you visit, the quality is always consistent-and this Plaza Senayan outlet is no exception. The chicken steak is well-executed: juicy and tender inside with a nicely seasoned exterior, paired perfectly with crispy fries. Simple, comforting, and done right. The Long John is a classic favorite-soft, airy bread generously filled and topped with chocolate shavings. Rich but balanced, and always satisfying. The ikura cream cheese dipping chips were a great addition - crispy chips with a rich, creamy dip, and the pop of salty ikura really elevates the flavor. A perfect snack-style dish to share. Their crab & prawn pasta is another highlight. The pasta is cooked al dente, generously coated in a creamy sauce with real seafood flavor. The sweetness of the crab and prawns comes through nicely, making it indulgent without being overwhelming. Overall, Union remains a reliable choice for both savory dishes and desserts. Always delicious, always consistent, and definitely a place you can come back to again and again.

Always crowded, but that is the price you'd pay for a good dining spot. Since its so popular, reservation is recommended. Union can be considered upclass restaurant/ cafe with pretty strong entree/ mains and cakes/ dessert, and lately bagels and the multitude of dips that are available. The table service are quick efficient and attentive

4.5 out of 5. could not give the full five marks cause for me the red velvet cake was too sweet and the rum was so strong that it can felt bitter and overpowering on some munches. Other than that, exceptional. Loved the bakmi ayam with foie gras, such a great elevation of bakmi to the fancier side. the chicken steak with fries was also really tasty, well-seasoned and fulfilling. might come back for other menu. oh, and I really like the ambiance of sitting by the window, such a chic and classy spot to have a breakfast/brunch.
