Restaurant decorations feels like walking through a museum. Many beautiful pieces to admire. The overall interior is marred by a very basic plain room interior which could be vastly improved with historical textural elements that hails from Indonesia. The temple background ambient music is beautifully selected giving a mysterious but serene theme. The food is perfectly spiced and seasoned. Some dishes were presented spectacularly while others were a bit plain. Vegetable dishes are superb as well as the very tender and rich beef randang. Soups are excellent. A little guess a long way. The chicken and the stewed fish was dry and stringy which is prevalent in Indonesia for whatever reason. If they can prepare the meat to be as soft and tender as the beef randang it would garner five stars.

This place is absolutely astonishing, it felt like I was on a tour in a historic museum that also included great food. The interior is steeped in cultural tradition, so make sure you have a tour around the place, taking in the details. The food is local, lots of Javanese dishes, all of them delicious. 10/10, no notes.

The restaurant interior has an interesting historical theme and is beautifully decorated. Wide variety of food choices but taste wise is pretty average. Do try their recommended Boat of Nine Satays which offers a various types and flavors of satay. Overall, a good option for dinner.
