We went on our anniversary.. the staff was very polite specially Mr. Prabhat. We ordered their signature dal bukhara, paneer makhni, paneer tikka and pudina paratha… the food was so amazing. They also offered us complimentary cake. Highly recommended place for ambience, service and food. The Gujarat ipl team was also staying their.. 😊😊
Had a wonderful birthday celebration at Peshawari, Jaipur with my family. The food was absolutely amazing, maintaining its top-notch standards as always truly unmatched. The service by Mr. Sanwar Lal ji was exceptional. He took such great care of us and made the entire experience even more special with his warm hospitality and attention to detail. I would really like to personally thank Mr. Sanwar Lal ji for the incredible service and hospitality he extended to us. It was a memorable evening, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite of what the overwhelmingly positive reviews had led me to expect. I visited with high expectations, but several aspects fell short. To begin with, there was an error in taking our order, where my chicken main course was mistakenly served as paneer. When I inquired about the spice level beforehand, I was informed that the dish would be very spicy; however, what arrived was rather insipid and lacked the expected depth of flavor. The Dal Bukhara, which is often considered a signature dish, did not live up to its reputation and felt like a disservice to the name. Additionally, the pudina lachha paratha was topped with an excessive amount of dried mint powder, which had burnt during cooking, resulting in an unpleasant, almost sawdust-like texture. While the staff did offer to replace the dishes, the long wait of nearly 40 minutes had already dampened the experience, and we did not feel inclined to reorder. I do acknowledge that the restaurant was quite busy, and this may have been an off day. However, based on this visit, the overall experience was disappointing. I genuinely hope this was an exception rather than the norm.
Loved our experience of Peshawari. We ordered the fixed menu/thali and loved every bit of it. Kebabs were lovely, butter naan was delicious and Dal Bukhara was one of the best daals I have ever had. We also loved our kulfi at the end. The only negative was that we felt that the service staff was not very keen in offering the fixed menu. Even though we asked for the fixed menu at entrance we were not provided that and had to ask thrice to finally receive the right menu.
Best Dal Bukhara I’ve ever had in my life. Great service, excellent food and portion size. The tandoori platter, Onion Kulcha and Pudina Paratha are must orders. Wanted to try the Sikandari Raan too but was too full.
