Visited this place on my bday and I must say the vibe of the place is very good. They are famous for their chotu Idly platter, and dal pakwan, so we ordered both. Also, we ordered their kesar chai and masala tadka maggi. Honestly, dal pakwan and Idly platter was more delicious then my expectations. Although I found the price of tea high. Maybe it's because of aesthetic experience and surroundings. Would visit this place again maybe to try their vada pav platter.

Went here after hearing so much hype about it, and honestly, the place does feel quite premium. I think a big reason behind its popularity is its location — right in central Jaipur, in one of the city’s most posh and upscale areas. The place is spread across the 2nd and 3rd floors. The 2nd floor has the Tapri Café setup, while the 3rd floor is a rooftop restaurant with a beautiful city view. The ambience was nice and decent overall, and the rooftop seating definitely adds to the experience. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating with quite a spacious arrangement. Cleanliness and overall maintenance were impressive too. After checking recommendations online, we ordered Dal Pakwan, one set of Masala Chai (which also comes with complimentary khakra), Tadka Maggi, and Vada Pav. Now coming to the taste — Dal Pakwan completely stole the show. It was unbelievably delicious, literally a burst of flavors. Honestly, if you visit Tapri Central and skip Dal Pakwan, you’re missing the best part. Just try it without overthinking. It was absolutely perfect. The Tadka Maggi and Vada Pav were also super delicious and worth trying. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The only thing that didn’t fully match our expectations was the Masala Chai. Since tea is their main identity, we expected something extraordinary, but maybe our expectations were just too high. It was decent, but not as memorable as the food. Talking about service, most items arrived within around 10 minutes, but the chai took noticeably longer — around 15–20 minutes. The total bill for all four items, including GST, came to ₹913. Overall, a really good experience with great food, nice ambience, rooftop vibes, and one absolutely unforgettable Dal Pakwan.

Tapri Central never disappoints! I’ve been coming here regularly for the past few years and their consistency is remarkable. Although they have four outlets in Jaipur, Tapri "Central" is the best among them. Rest are are also good but not as good as this one !! Every visit feels fresh yet familiar — a perfect blend of great food, beautiful ambience and warm service. I’m attaching photos from my last 3–4 visits, which show how consistently amazing this place performs! Top recommendations from my visits: – Sautéed Mushrooms – Dal Pakwan (their “Gau Ro Pizzo” twist) – Quinoa Upma – Hot, piping Indian tea served in classic Ramjara glasses – Bun Muska – Chotu Idli Platter – Moonglet – Garlic Bread with Cheese (and honestly everything else on the menu! - Samosa, Vada pavs, sandwiches, chaats , pizzas ....list doesn't end ! ) What sets Tapri apart is the spectacular view — you can sip tea while watching the city and catch stunning sunsets. The menu is unique and creative, offering a fun mix of comfort food and inventive snacks. If you’re in Jaipur and want a place with an awesome view, quirky menu, and consistently good food, Tapri Central is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Tapri central was a pleasant surprise. Nice ambience, amazing service and tasty food makes it a must to visit in Jaipur. Tapri puchka was no comparison to Meerut puchka though. Rest of the things especially the khichri with its accompaniments was outstanding. Their menu has some interesting quotes. Please go through it

The place has great energy! The best time to go to Taoru is early mornings! The sunlit terrace offers a perfect ambience. The staff is warm and friendly. The food options plenty. The food was delicious, presented well and neat crockey and cutlery added to it. Would highly recommend going there with friends and family. There's something for everyone.
