Arguably the best hotel we've ever stayed in. A former maharajah's home, just stunningly decorated, beautiful gardens, rooftop bar, every inch the essence of Indian history permeating through the walls with all mod cons added for good measure. Great staff, sublime food, second to none ambience, very comfortable beds, terrific bathrooms. Loved every minute of our four night stay. Be aware that there are a lot of stairs to negotiate, but this is a period home turned into a magnificent hotel. There are ways and means, and attentive staff. Absolutely glorious.

My first and most memorable impression of this hotel was the warm welcome and the stunning lounge where our registration was done. The lounge is so beautiful that we spent every afternoon there, reading and having tea (served from the restaurant). The dining areas -- outside under the stars, a room inside and another room also inside -- were all so lovely that we had all our meals here during our 3 nights' stay. The two shops carry beautiful things and some of the items were so reasonably priced we bought gifts from there. Staff were warm and friendly throughout. In particular, Simran at reception who was consistently helpful and thoughtful. Her colleague, a tall gentleman, was also helpful. One particular restaurant staff (small-built, with a moustache, I think his name is Dipendra) was helpful and intuitive every single time we were there. A fabulous stay overall.

Exceptional Service – A Royal Experience at Samode Haveli! Our stay at Samode Haveli was nothing short of spectacular, made truly unforgettable by the incredible hospitality of Suryavardhan and Simran. When we encountered an issue with our initial room, they didn’t just fix it—they transformed our entire trip. They graciously upgraded us to the Sheesh Mahal and the Haveli Suite at no extra charge. Over the course of our three-day stay, we were able to experience three different, stunning rooms, each more beautiful than the last. The entire staff is exceptionally polite, proactive, and always ready to guide you through anything you need. Their support made our visit seamless. We highly recommend Samode Haveli to anyone visiting Jaipur!

We stayed at Samode Haveli for two nights and were incredibly well looked after from the moment we arrived. The property itself is stunning — a true haveli experience tucked away in Jaipur’s old city, full of character and charm. What really set our stay apart was the personal attention from the staff, and in particular from Pushpen, who took it upon himself to organise all of our tours and excursions and even helped us arrange an extended stay in our room. That kind of genuine, proactive hospitality is rare and made all the difference. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly. A wonderful base for exploring Jaipur and a real highlight of our trip to Rajasthan.

Best hotel I stayed in during our visit to India. Great restaurant too, has western food too if you need a break from the spices. Pool is beautiful. Rooftop is pretty.
