If you want to experience one of the most breathtaking sunsets in Jaipur while sipping a chilled beer, this is a place you simply shouldn’t miss. This was my second visit to Padao, and this time I was lucky enough to be here with my better half. We visited on 05 February 2025—almost a year ago. The weather was perfectly balanced: neither chilly nor warm, just right for an open‑air evening. We often hear the saying, “The journey is more beautiful than the destination.” Most of the time it holds true, but on this occasion, both the journey and the destination were equally beautiful. Coming to the food, the menu didn’t offer many options, so we ordered Veg Pakodi, peanuts, and beer. The service was decent, and the pakodi tasted good. I’m giving this place 4 stars, purely for the unforgettable sunset—one of those moments that stays with you long after you leave.

If you love to drink alcohol with viewing the sunset then only visit this place else wastage of money. Same sunset view you can get nearby it free of cost. You have to wait or needs to bring the food and beverage by your own. The waiters think themselves as government employees.

Padao Restaurant in Jaipur is often called a “must visit,” and in some ways, I do agree. I reached early, around 5:00 PM, got a seat with the best view, and truly enjoyed that quiet time. Watching the sunset and then seeing the city lights slowly come alive was beautiful and definitely the highlight of the place. However, once sunset time approaches (around 6:30 PM), the place becomes extremely crowded. People are constantly clicking pictures and shooting videos, and many keep asking you when you’ll vacate your seat so they can take it. It stops feeling relaxed and becomes quite chaotic. The food was honestly disappointing—no taste at all. People sitting next to us ordered fancy dishes and were served undercooked or even spoiled food. The staff seemed least bothered and didn’t really care about the experience of the guests. There’s no cover charge, but there is an entry fee (around ₹100, if I remember correctly), which includes one complimentary drink either a cold drink, tea, or coffee. Unfortunately, even the tea and coffee were below average. That said, the view is truly stunning. The transition from sunset to city lights is magical and makes the visit worth it visually. Overall, it was a good experience for the view, but the reality is exactly what I’ve shared through the pictures and videos I uploaded.

The views are really great no doubt. But the service is very poor. Food quality isn’t that nice too. But yeah you can go there for the sunset view.
