Not a restful stay. Ok restaurant. Naff hotel. The restaurant is decent - good food and a pleasant atmosphere, with gentle live music some evenings. However, service is hit or miss and the overall experience feels somewhat overpriced. The hotel won’t suit guests seeking a restful stay. Noise levels are high, with rooms sandwiched between the rooftop restaurant and two lively bars on ground and first floors. Sounds from bars and staff continue late into the night (beyond midnight) and resume early in the morning (4am ish), making uninterrupted sleep difficult. Communication is sloppy and pre-arranging transfers or tours often requires repeated follow-up. We ended up having to arrange tours ourselves. Several basic amenities usual at this price point are lacking, including bottled water, an in-room fridge, hangers, and hand towels. Guests needing to keep medication chilled must rely on the restaurant’s refrigerator. Maintenance issues were also noticeable, such as flickering and non-functioning lights and subpar bathroom cleanliness. The property request an online check-in process that does not work smoothly and feels like a waste of time as the same information is requested again upon arrival. While the décor is pleasant, it feels dated. Overall, the approach to service feels relaxed to the point of inattentiveness. Alternative accommodation is likely to provide a better experience.
We appreciated having A/C and hot water. The Peacock restaurant is surprisingly good, very good, really. The staff was responsive and got our laundry back to us as promised, but the facility itself is another story. It is tired. Our room had a window with a missing pane of glass from whence every car horn, dog fight, musical note, fireworks, burnt cooking oil smells made their presence feel as if they were coming from within the room itself. We got little rest, even with earplugs. The bed's mattress was thin and sagging. The curtains couldn't be made to cover the windows. Just not the experience we hoped to have.
Pls pls must read 🙏 🙏 Hotel Pearl Palace & Peacock Restaurant are all part of the same building. There are bars on three floors, with different names. There is a rooftop restaurant where guests can enjoy their meals. The restaurant was crowded, so I got the food packed and started eating in the car. I am uploading photos and a video of the food, you will be shocked after seeing it. This might have happened to someone else before or after my experience, but people look at the star ratings and no one has time to read reviews. I request all those who read reviews, please tell all your friends to read the Plus reviews, this is for your convenience. View the videos and photos and decide how many stars they should receive. The hotel's audio camera recordings should be reviewed by the management or owner. And I request to everyone who has visited to leave a review, even a short one. Be sure to leave a review of every place. Thank you.
We had a great stay at Pearl Palace in Jaipur. The hotel is excellent and very clean, but what we loved most was the Peacock rooftop restaurant — delicious food, great cocktails, and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were amazing and really helped us out when we lost our key somewhere in Jaipur. The only small downside was a bit of noise at night, but overall it was a wonderful experience and we’d definitely come back.
We left early due to excessive noise from the cocktail bar in the same building where there was apparently a party. Even at 11pm the windows were vibrating from the deafening sound. Despite repeatedly asking, volume was not turned down. Previous night was also some noise but doable. The room we received was average and not as pictured online. Only positive was the good service we received when we checked in very early (~6am) and were given a temporary room until our own room was being made ready. The rooftop restarant also is great and worth a visit.
