Pure MAGIC! I don't even know where to start. Every single detail, including some we didn't consider, was carefully orchestrated for the best experience. We started at the rooftop bar with the view of the sunset. Tasty appetizers just magically appeared and our glasses were never empty. It was a bit chilly so heaters were brought to our table, again without interruption. Once the sun had set, we moved into the dining room and enjoyed a sampling of the chef's best fish dishes and sushi. My personal favorite is a creation by the General Manager, Deniz. The conversation flowed seamlessly and we started noticing fun versions of our favorite songs on the Playlist. Little did we know that our host, Deniz, is a hobbyist DJ and he had chosen some songs from our favorite genres to make the evening even more special. Don't save going here for a special occasion. Come NOW and come back often. Every day is a special occasion and should be celebrated with this magic.

Our experience at Spago at The St. Regis Istanbul was truly outstanding from beginning to end. The service was excellent, with an impeccable level of attention to detail. The staff were extremely polite, attentive, welcoming, and clearly perfectionists in the way they approached every moment of the dining experience. Our table was beautifully arranged and fully prepared upon arrival, setting the tone for a refined and seamless evening. The dishes were presented with exceptional elegance, thoughtfully assembled, with beautifully balanced flavors and ingredients that worked harmoniously together. The service throughout was flawless, discreet yet consistently present. We also had what was easily the best Negroni we tried in Istanbul, and even the dessert was memorable and absolutely worth it. The ambiance elevated the entire experience: refined, vibrant, and sophisticated without ever feeling overwhelming. Spago delivers not only excellent cuisine but also a complete dining experience that feels polished, warm, and unforgettable.

The rooftop location is impressive, and the service was polite and attentive. The food was generally good, though not particularly memorable. Given that the restaurant holds a Michelin star, expectations were understandably high — both in terms of culinary refinement and overall dining experience. Unfortunately, the atmosphere during our visit did not reflect the level of sophistication typically associated with Michelin-starred establishments. The environment was lively to the point of being loud, which detracted from the otherwise elegant setting. In our view, a restaurant of this distinction should consistently deliver not only quality cuisine, but also a well-curated ambiance in line with its reputation. A few adjustments in this direction would better align the experience with the standards expected at this level.

We were at the restaurant on September 23rd celebrating our brother-in-law's birthday. The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere. The night view isn’t as special as during the day, but the place itself is quite pleasant. The outdoor area with the open-air bar is very enjoyable.
