A legendary lunch spot where a massive vertical spit of high-quality beef döner sells out by mid-afternoon.

Legendary Doner. The secret lies in simplicity and uncompromising quality. The meat is a precise blend of fresh beef with a touch of lamb (sourced from the Balıkesir and Thrace regions), slow-roasted over a traditional wood fire. It’s served in a fresh, wonderful Pide bread baked right on-site. When the protein and the bread are this good, you don't need any extra "noise"—the flavor speaks for itself. Important things to note: Price & Portion: We paid about €14 for a medium-sized portion and a soda. It is not cheap by Istanbul standards, and the portions aren't huge (we were still a bit hungry), but the quality and taste are indisputable. Pro Tip: They close the moment the meat runs out—usually by early to mid-afternoon. Make sure to arrive early to avoid disappointment. Service & Seating: There is a long queue outside, but the service is incredibly fast and efficient. The space is small and cramped, so expect an "eat and go" experience or take it to-go while exploring the vibrant Beşiktaş district. An authentic, refined Turkish experience that is worth every minute of the wait.

Fantastic place to have amazing döner, either in a wrap, bread or as a portion with rice. The döner was fantastic, very tasty, very well made and not overpowered by spices at all. The portion sizes are 100, 150, 200 g, and you don't wanna get the 100, it wasn't enough as it is that good. The place has seats in 2nd and 3rd floor, not huge areas but manageable as we noticed people come, enjoy the food, and leave. We were given a side of pickles but they were super sour and not very fresh unfortunately. The service was fast, staff were very friendly and the food was superb.

Meats are nice, but its very expensive. Not sure if its worth the price (and the long queue too). But at least we can sit at the nearby bar to enjoy the doner.

In my opinion, Karadeniz Döner by Asım Usta is one of the best places to eat Döner. The prices are a little bit high, but in return you get quality food and taste. The restaurant has a very limited seating.

Definitely not worth the try. The meat doesn’t taste very good and has a weird flavor. We didn’t enjoy it much and the price for the given quality was not worth it. Very disappointing and not recommended at all. Other places serve much better meat like bayramoglu that we liked much better
