Beyti Restaurant is not merely one of Istanbul’s classic dining institutions—it is, in our view, by far the finest steakhouse in Turkey. A true culinary landmark with decades of history and reputation behind it, the restaurant consistently delivers an exceptionally polished and deeply authentic Turkish dining experience from beginning to end. The service is impeccable, carried out with remarkable professionalism by the restaurant’s iconic white-coated staff, whose attentiveness and discipline add a timeless old-school elegance rarely seen today. Despite the restaurant’s large size, the operation runs with impressive precision and hospitality. The food itself is outstanding. Traditional Turkish meat dishes are executed at the highest level, particularly the döner and the restaurant’s legendary signature dish—the original “Beyti,” named after founder Beyti Güler. Richly flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully balanced, it fully justifies the fame attached to its name. The mezes and appetizers are equally impressive: fresh, refined, and genuinely mouth-watering without feeling overly heavy. The restaurant also offers extensive indoor and outdoor seating along with ample parking, making it suitable for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. Yet despite its scale, its enduring popularity means it remains consistently busy. Tip: Reservations are strongly recommended, especially for larger groups and weekend evenings. Prepare to spend approximately $70–80 per person for a full dining experience with appetizers and main courses, but the quality, service, and atmosphere make it well worth it. Arrive hungry and do not leave without trying the original Beyti kebab.
Wow .... Wonderful and welcoming. Best experience for me personally and divine meal. Loved the attentiveness and warm smiles. Food .... Omgoodness melt in your mouth lamb ...heaven . I absolutely detest spinach now that I am older and wiser but this creamed spinach was blissful. The steak was massive but tasty. Let me say I love pickles!!! Best pickles in the world and as green as my eyes, perfect! Atmosphere relaxing with a lovely view of the fountain, table comfortable .... Just absolutely lovely and will return ... Just the when ❤️❤️
Beyti is the best restaurant in my world … and my world had visited a lot till now. The Turkish cuisine at its peek … the food is amazingly cooked and the ingredients are very carefully chosen … I even heard that they grow their own meat … that is why it is so so tasty
A restaurant that is over 80 years old. The food is good and the service impeccable. It's worth a try if you're in the area.
This restaurant is truly one of the best culinary experiences I have ever had in Türkiye. My parents and I were completely impressed from start to finish. The service is warm and attentive, and the dishes are of outstanding quality – you can feel the passion and craftsmanship in every detail. The only minor point of criticism would be the bread at the beginning, which could have been better. Other than that, everything was absolutely excellent. It feels as if you are being welcomed into someone’s home and treated like family. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
