Bedbugs alert ‼️🚨🚨🚨 I have booked two nights over there, first of all most expensive dormitory I booked for the quality it was. On the second night, I was woken up by something crawling onto my hand around 2 am. I was delighted to find out under my phone’s flashlight, a massive bedbug. And yes, unfortunately I know how to recognise one. I had experienced them 15 years ago in London. After getting rid of it, a quick search with my light let me find straight away three more. From 2 am, impossible then to sleep. Stayed wide awake until the morning checking constantly with my light. Bedbugs hide in daylight, then that’s when I could finally find some sleep. Only for a few hours before the receptionist guy came knocking vigourously on my bedframe asking me to check out “quickly”. When I asked him if he knew about the bedbugs, he said no. I honestly found that very strange. He then awkwardly explained to me that pest control was coming monthly to spray everything and everybody had to get out. Why would pest control come monthly if there was no infection at first place? Running an hostel infested by bedbugs is irresponsible. I am now covered in bug bites and the very worst part is I might be now carrying them. I have contacted Hostelworld to report the issue, so they can stop promoting them as soon as possible. I’m waiting for a reply from them. Pay more and go elsewhere.

bedbugs❗️❗️ I saw a review that written a week ago warning about bed bugs, I was really concerned about it so I contacted Agoda before checking in that I would like to cancel my reservation. The hostel responded that they had checked and there were no bed bugs But on my first night, I was badly bitten all over my arms, back, and neck. When I told the staff, they even suggested the bed bugs might have come from my luggage. This is the first negative hotel review I have ever written. This experience was absolutely horrible So I have to write this review to warn everyone. If you see this, even if you’ve already booked and the they refuses to refund you, do NOT stay here—you will end up paying a much higher price. All the girls in the rooms saw my bites and moved out in the middle of the night.

Urban Pack Hostel is a backpacker-friendly spot nestled in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, just steps from the MTR and Kowloon Park. The location is unbeatable—whether you're chasing skyline views from the harbor or hunting down late-night street eats, you're right in the thick of it. The hostel itself is modern and stylish, with cozy dorms and private rooms. Beds are I generally comfortable, and the air conditioning is a lifesaver in Hong Kong’s humidity. The staff are known to be friendly and helpful, and there are several common areas for mingling, including a rooftop lounge

JUST DON’T. ITS TERRIBLE. Bunks are in a living room of an old apartment that a lady and his little kid lives there! You, 8 guests, her and the child share the same space and bathroom. The apartment is disgusting. See my photos. Rotten food in the fridge, stains all over carpet, dirty bathroom. No curtains in the windows so you wake up early. Staff is rude and unprofessional. I arrived 8am, sent them Messages to leave my luggage and they answered me 4 hours later. Had to wander Hong Kong with my stuff. Then I arrived one hour after check in time and my bed was not ready! So from 2pm check tin Injust got mine 4pm, after Jonas, “the manager”, made my himself. ITS A BAD JOKE PLACE

I’ have been literally eaten alive by bedbugs. My body is covered in infected sores. I went to reception multiple times and there was nobody there. People were smoking all night and the smoke constantly entered the room and their party didn't end until 2 a.m. The room was absolutely disgusting. My visit to Hong Kong has been totally ruined indeed.
