We love their dim sum or yum cha dishes here at Tim Ho Wan. Very diverse options food and drinks too. Expect 15-30minutes wait to get a seat. Easily accessible from MTR Hongkong central station. Prices are reasonable too. Seating available on 2 side by side lots on the same location.

If you are looking for an exceptional dining experience that perfectly balances authentic flavors with modern presentation, Timowan is the place to be. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and impeccable service. The Highlights: • The Food: Every dish was a masterpiece. The ingredients felt incredibly fresh, and the attention to detail in the seasoning was evident. It’s rare to find a place where the appetizers are just as impressive as the main courses. • The Ambiance: The interior design is chic yet cozy—perfect for a romantic date night or a sophisticated dinner with friends. The lighting and acoustics allow for actual conversation, which is a huge plus. • The Service: The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu. Our server gave excellent recommendations that truly elevated our meal. Final Verdict: Timowan has set a high bar for excellence. It isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. It is easily one of the best spots in town right now. Highly recommended! I will definitely be returning soon.

The space so tight and it is not a good experience at all (see photos where the chairs are touching each other when they are average size chairs...). There is no elbow room. Shrimp rice rolls... You can easily find better rice rolls outside. They are so stingy with the shrimps, they are minced shrimps! The rice sheet is so thick! The only compliment is that the rice sheet is soft.... Spinach dumplings. It's decent size, somehow it feels oily inside... Chicken feet. It's decent size, but it's not cooked long enough as the sauce just barely penetrated through. I added the black truffle mushroom dumplings.... They look so shrunk up. The taste is stale fat.... No truffle oil nor mushroom taste. Just a mouthful of stale oil...

It took a bit of work to find it as it is deep inside a building but we got there. When you arrive go to the machine and enter the number of people dining. There will be a queue. While you're waiting grab a menu and write your order down. When you're seated hand your order to the staff. Your food will arrive shortly. Wirth the hunt and the slight wait.

Some food was good but very cramed in seating. Ordered steamed chicken and it was raw. Didn't risk to take another bite. Tried to complain but nobody understood me. Guess they never had a complaint. Felt pressured to buy chinese tea. (We did) Expensive for what it is
