We visited for the Christmas Brunch and the place didn't disappoint us. Probably the best salad bar; great set of dishes with nice flavours and good temperature on the steak. Nice welcome champagne; we enjoyed the whole meal! The staff is attentive and nice as expected from a top steakhouse.

Easily one of the best steakhouses in HK. The sourcing of steak here is top notch. We had the seasonal whisky dry-aged Mayura T-bone and it was absolutely amazing. Perfectly grilled to medium rare. Tender and succulent. Also we ordered the Ora King salmon which is a rare find in HK restaurants. The fish was flakey and literally melts in your mouth. Perfect for special occasions or meals with your closest ones.

I want to warn others about our experience at The Steak House. We dined on Sunday, April 12 at 6:00 PM as a party of five. Within hours, two of us developed acute food poisoning symptoms, including repeated vomiting throughout two nights. A third person is still experiencing significant stomach discomfort days later. I was the birthday host that evening, and I am deeply embarrassed that my guests fell ill after a meal I invited them to. To make matters worse, I’ve since seen other public Google reviews mentioning food poisoning after eating here. This suggests our case is not isolated. On top of that, the baked Alaska was a terrible ending. The waitress didn’t know how to properly pour the rum and ended up not the properly way burning the cake. She even poured it directly onto the plate, where a whole scoop of ice cream was left unfinished. Management told us they are running tests, but the harm has already been done – regardless of what the lab results show while the food they sent to the lab wasn’t even the food we ate then how would this result be fair? This raises serious concerns about food safety and quality control. Given the severity of what we went through, I expect full accountability from hotel management. This was not a minor issue – it was distressing and completely unacceptable for an establishment of this standard.

Excellent experience at The Steak House at Regent Hong Kong. The buffet was generous, fresh, and high-quality. The steaks stood out with premium cuts and perfect cooking: beautiful crust, juicy inside, and cooked exactly as requested. The only downside was the Mille-Feuille for dessert, which looked great but had almost no flavor.

We found that the steak house joins the restaurant week and the menu is quite attractive. The salad bar is amazing. Vegetables are fresh in a wide range selection. Homemade smoke salmon and Parma ham are must-eat items. We chose South Africa flank and pork tomahawk for sharing. Both of them were cooked perfectly. What surprise us is the service. Klaus, Queenie and Tara served us with sincere and also help us out just in a right time. To be honest, it is not easy to find a up-to-standard service, even in a 5-star hotel. It is appreciated that the Regent still keeps the standard. Highly recommend for celebration.
