The hotel is very luxurious, elegant, and exceptionally clean. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was well-maintained and comfortable, making the entire experience feel relaxing and premium. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. It made getting around so much easier during our trip. Breakfast buffet has great selection of food, and I especially loved the hakaw and dumplings. Another thing worth mentioning is the pool area. The view from there was absolutely stunning and created such a relaxing atmosphere, especially during sunset. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of walking.
The Peninsula Hong Kong – Timeless Elegance & Impeccable Hospitality Our stay at The Peninsula Hong Kong was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the team warmly welcomed us and personally showed us to our room, ensuring every detail was perfectly arranged. A special appreciation to the F&B Manager, who greeted us personally and thoughtfully curated a list of recommended restaurants. Every lunch and dinner reservation was seamlessly arranged, and each experience turned out to be wonderful — refined, memorable, and perfectly suited to our taste. The level of attentiveness, elegance, and genuine hospitality truly sets The Peninsula apart. A timeless icon in Hong Kong that continues to deliver excellence in every detail.
We came here for our 10 years wedding anniversary and my in law agreed to take care of our kids. Unfortunately, my younger kid is not feeling well and they believe we can take better care of our kid. So we came here on Sunday. The peninsula associate, Ada, was super, super kind and nice made a minor adjustment to accommodate our kids. We have complimentary breakfast from our credit card deal. The service here is top notch. The peninsula also made a complimentary anniversary cake. This kind of service and gesture beats any other hotels we ever stayed. The only negative thing I can say is about the shower head, it drips a little bit. But considering this hotel is almost 100 years old, this kind of imperfection is expected. We will still have few days stay here, and our son said we will definitely come back here if we ever visit Hong Kong. When we came back to the room last night, the hotel left us a goodie bag and red envelopes on our beds. I must add the decorations through the hotel are splendid and tasteful. It is just like understated elegance of luxury. I would say The Peninsula Hotel HK deserves a 6 stars ranking overall. Happy guests from room 433.
A truly iconic Hong Kong hotel with an excellent location and timeless luxury. I especially enjoyed the stunning views from Felix, which were a highlight of my stay. The rooms felt a bit small for the category, and I wish there were a more comfortable lobby area for guests to relax or wait for a taxi. Nonetheless, the service, atmosphere, and location make it a memorable place to stay.
We were lucky that it was not a busy day at the lobby cafe. We were able to enjoy a cup of coffee without paying the usual minimum charge of $400HKD per person. It was very comfortable and the hotel is stunning.
