A must-visit dim sum spot in Hong Kong — consistently delicious and great value. Taste Har gow with bouncy shrimp, juicy siu mai, fragrant lotus leaf sticky rice, rich char siu buns, and smooth custard lava buns. Well-balanced flavors, not overly salty or greasy. Ambience Small, local-style eatery. Tables are close together but clean and efficiently managed. Service Fast and organized, even during peak hours. Price Around HKD 20–40 per dish — excellent value for the quality. Summary Authentic, affordable, and satisfying. Definitely worth stopping by when in Hong Kong.

The restaurant opens quite early, and the establishment is pleasant, making it a great spot to dine in the morning. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious dim sum options. The har gow and siu mai are as expected from Hong Kong dim sum, and the lo mai kai rice dumpling is flavorful and enjoyable. They also have a well-made BBQ pork bun. Most of the dim sum we ordered were good, though there’s always room for improvement. Overall, it’s a fun place to visit.

3.5/5 One Dim Sum serves dim sum that is consistently decent across the board, though nothing particularly stood out as exceptional. That said, once you factor in the pricing, it becomes a very good value-for-money option for dim sum in Hong Kong. Everything was competently executed, even if none of the dishes felt especially memorable. The items I’d probably avoid would be the mango pudding and the custard buns, which were both distinctly average. Queues here can also get quite long, so be prepared to wait during peak dining hours.

Loved the xiu mai and har gao. We also ordered porridge, carrot cake and char xiu bao, those were fine for us. The portion was so big, dont over order. We had our dimsum at timhowan and this place proved to be the winner. The dimsum were super fresh here. Will be back when we are in town.
