An intimate, low-ceilinged basement club dedicated to underground house, techno, and electronic music.

For those who don’t know this is a small intimate club playing techno, tech house , house and even D&B since 2007 under various names and about three owners. The original Yumla then M&Co then Oma has now new owners and the club has indeed changed since it was sold in 2014. It was an institution of electronic music in HK and now although it still has good vibes depending on music style or DJs, has partly lost its original vibe which was a club for music lovers mainly. It’s a little seedier, feels a little trashier after 5:00 am and less emphasis on community but at least it’s still standing and it’s in my opinion a good place to party. Don’t expect a good party before 1 :30 and don’t listen to the negative comments. It’s still a place for music lovers and just choose your music and Dj night carefully. Like I said, it’s less reliable now in terms of atmosphere so Google the DJs and see if it’s your thing. Don’t expect super cutting edge electronic music but don’t expect mediocre or commercial music either. By the way, sound system is still great.
🚨🚨🚨 PLEASE READ🚨🚨🚨 DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT come to this club. Please read before visiting. We had a disappointing experience at this venue. Upon arrival, there was a $250 HKD per person entry fee. We politely asked if we could briefly view the club before paying, but security refused and assured us it was busy with a great atmosphere. We decided to proceed and paid $500 HKD for two people. Once inside, the environment was not as expected. Many patrons were on drugs, and the overall atmosphere felt uncomfortable. The restroom conditions were also unacceptable. The lights were off, the toilet seat was covered in urine, and there was water leaking around the sinks, the floors were wet. We decided to leave within minutes and requested a partial refund, but this was declined. The owner - Michael stated that we should have checked their Instagram beforehand. This was a very poor experience. I would not recommend this venue and encourage others to read the reviews carefully before visiting. Please trust all the 1 star reviews. We are business owners too and believe that honesty will support repeated business. This place is a scam and is looking to make money in a dishonest way. I wish I could rate this club a 0 instead of a 1.
I came here on a free techno night. Overall it was OK, the DJs and sound were alright, but energy management was all over the place. 0-2am was peak time, then 3am was softer, then the last hour when almost everybody was gone was hard techno which was too intense for the hour. The no ticketing/door men enabled too many ‘techno tourists’ to come, get their Insta photos and leave after 20 mins. I’m also only giving three stars because of the many reviews of people saying they had stuff stolen, or got scammed, or treat badly by staff. The club should take better care of its customers.
My wife and I had a blast here. Make sure to check what kind of music will be playing on the day you visit. Underground techno vibes and a very good sound system. The entry fee is 150 HKD and it includes 1 drink. We got here just before midnight and the place wasn't very crowded. People started coming in about an hour after we arrived.
Small techno bunker with good music and vibes. Went there on a friday. Came in at 00:30, club was half full. At 1:30 the club was packed (i think 100 ppl are the max capacity) and ppl where waiting in line outside to get in. Beers are expensive, better go for drinks like Gin-Tonic. Entrance + 1 drink: 150 Beer: 90 Drinks: 100
