The renovated dining room at Le Jardin de Joël Robuchon feels more intimate and elegant without being overly extravagant. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. They take pride in sharing details about the dishes and the restaurant, which really elevated the overall experience. Went for the 3-course lunch ($980) with the additional signature caviar dish (+$920). Every dish was beautifully plated and delivered flavours with genuine sophistication and finesse. A meal that reminded you why Robuchon remains in a class of its own. The best Michelin dining experience I have had in Hong Kong recently and worth every single penny. I have no doubt they will regain their 3 stars in no time. Can't wait to be back!

Dinner at the just renovated Joël Robuchon Hong Kong branch to try the Signature Menu 8 dishes, each dish is the climax. 1️⃣ Homemade bread basket First of all, especially to praise the bread here fresh just baked, once the lid has smelled vanilla and wheat, bite super loose, crispy outside and soft inside, with butter together is really great, people can not help but want to order more pieces, appetizing and high quality. 2️⃣ Parsley and white truffle gondola The white truffle aroma is super strong, served with crisps, the first bite is already amazing. The palate is layered, with truffle and vanilla flavors enhancing each other, simple but extremely highlighting the flavor of the ingredients themselves. 3️⃣ Sologne Imperial caviar with Alaskan king crab This dish is very signature, the preparation process is extremely complicated, and it looks like a work of art. Savory caviar, cold lobster soup, cauliflower cream, with king crab meat sweet and tender, full of freshness, the two perfectly blend, every bite can eat the chef's thought, endless aftertaste . 4️⃣ Scampi ravioli with black truffle and green cabbage The French wontons are wrapped in fresh and sweet shrimp, and the black truffle sauce is smooth and layered. 5️⃣ Soft boiled egg with Alba white truffle The egg yolk is melted with Alba white truffle slices for a striking aroma. There is a piece of rice cake made from pearl rice at the bottom. It is crispy and delicious, bringing a rich layered taste to the whole dish. 6️⃣ Pan-seared scallop with green curry and coriander sauce The scallops were fried just right, slightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and served with a light green curry that was a surprise. 7️⃣ Roasted blue lobster with green peas, bisque sauce The lobster meat is soft and sweet, and the rich lobster soup with sweet beans is very fresh! 8️⃣ Slow cooked Châteaubriant beef & foie gras The beef and goose liver melt in your mouth, the beef is fragrant, fat but not greasy, with classic red wine sauce, French romance is revealed. The mashed potatoes on the side were super fragrant and smooth, definitely Robuchon’s signature, and one couldn’t help but clear them up. After the meal, the restaurant will also serve a bowl of chicken soup, with a light medicinal flavor, which is very warm to drink, can relieve a little greasiness. 🍰 Dessert cart Choose from five French desserts, especially recommend the layer cake and chocolate tart, which are exquisite and not greasy. In addition, the restaurant offers Earl Gray, which perfectly ends this French feast. Each dish has a sense of layering, solid work, exquisite presentation, the gold medal waiter service is excellent, but other junior waiters have to work harder to adapt to the details of the dish.

First visit after renovation. I booked the bar table by mistake which is not bad. I like the a la cart tasting portion which I like. Signature bread basket as usual. But not my preference because I like bread being served time to time when they are still warm and crispy. No dessert trolley when U are sitting at the bar table which I'm quite disappointed. Good thing is not like other fine restaurants they have many choices to choose.

My family and I were recently in the Vegas restaurant in December and were excited to give the HKG a try. Unfortunately, our visit in HKG was less than stellar due to our main waiter having a chronic cough. We witnessed spittle fall unto our desserts, our silverware was dirty, 8 courses took 4hrs to complete, they did not explain two of the dishes served, mixed my sparkling water with still and didn’t correct. Positives: the wine pairing was impressive. At over 3kUSD the little things matter.

Dining at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Hong Kong is always a memorable experience, and this visit was no different in terms of food quality and presentation. Every dish was beautifully arranged with great attention to detail, and the flavours were refined, balanced, and inventive — exactly what you would expect from a restaurant of this calibre. From the amuse-bouche to dessert, each course showcased precision and artistry, delivering a genuine culinary experience. However, our seating arrangement had a minor downside. We were seated at the far end of the counter, which was quite quiet and somewhat separated from the main buzz of the dining area. Part of the appeal of sitting at the counter in Robuchon is being able to watch the chefs at work and enjoy the lively interaction between the kitchen and guests. Unfortunately, from our position, we couldn’t see much of what was happening behind the counter, which diminished a bit of that signature "L’Atelier" experience. One pleasant surprise was the wine prices. The selection is broad, and the prices are notably reasonable — perhaps the most affordable among fine dining restaurants in Hong Kong. It’s uncommon to find such a thoughtful and fairly priced wine list at this level of restaurant, which definitely enhances the overall value and enjoyment of the meal. The service was generally fine and efficient, though there is room for improvement in terms of warmth and attentiveness. The staff were polite and professional, but at times, the interaction felt slightly formal and distant. A touch more friendliness and engagement would have made the experience even more memorable and personal. Overall, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon continues to deliver on its promise of exceptional cuisine and elegant dining. The food was exquisite, the wine list impressive, and the atmosphere refined — though I would recommend requesting a more central seat at the counter for a fuller experience. Despite a few minor service and seating issues, it remains one of the top dining destinations in Hong Kong for those who appreciate fine French gastronomy.
