A quiet and spacious museum with multiple levels (and elevator access, which is convenient). It offers a very informative and meaningful look into Vietnamese culture, especially focusing on the role and contributions of women. There is an optional audio guide available for an additional fee, which can enhance the experience. There’s also a souvenir shop on the first floor. A great place to visit if you want a deeper understanding of Vietnamese Women’s social and cultural history.

An Inspiring and Must Visit Cultural Shop. The collection of traditional ethnic costumes is stunning, showcasing the incredible diversity and craftsmanship of vietnam's various regions. An eye opening experience that goes far beyond typical history. It's a beautiful tribute to the strength and spirit of Vietnamese women . Don't skip it!

The Vietnamese Women's Museum honors the history, culture, and roles of Vietnamese women throughout history. The museum is divided into three main themes: Women in the Family, Women in History, and Women's Fashion. The museum contains over 25,000 artifacts. What I found most interesting were the wartime stories highlighting those brave women who served in the military and the underground, as well as the personal stories of everyday women during those difficult times.

We arrived at opening time. You work your way through three floors of displays broken up into subjects and themes. Very well laid out with signs explaining everything. I did come across one section where the door was closed and the room was dark, but looking through the glass of the door it looked like something was inside. I opened the door and the lights came on. It was a whole area that I would have missed if I hadn't tried the door. Everything in the museum was interesting but my favorites were the clothing. Unique, colorful, and beautiful. If you are looking for something relaxing, or need to get out of the heat or rain, and would like to learn something at the same time, this is a good place to visit.
