this place is so cute and hidden away, we stayed for hours ordering our favorite cocktails and adventuring out into some of their unique signature drinks. I tried the most interesting sounding one with chicken salt and pickles and was surprise to find that i LOVED it. clean, comfortable toilet facilities and staff that wanted to talk to you about the drinks. Phi was very personable and helped make the evening a great success. 5 stars all around, highly recommend.

Ambience The interior is rustic and dim, a cosy, intimate space with low lighting and stylishly minimal decor, centred around a single long bar counter. Service The service here is defined by genuine warmth and deep knowledge. The lead bartender was exceptionally friendly and passionate, generously sharing the best the bar has to offer. She provided us with tastes of local liquors to educate our palates and took the time to explain each cocktail we ordered in impressive detail. Beyond the drinks, she offered thoughtful recommendations for other bars around the city, embodying the collaborative spirit of the cocktail community. Food/ Drink The cocktails are truly nice, showcasing a creative and delicious menu inspired by Vietnamese dishes. The famous Pho cocktail is a must-try experience, a savoury, spice-forward drink that tastes remarkably like the beloved noodle soup. Was looking for some beer to have while waiting for a friend and stumbled on this gem of a bar nestled in an alley choke full or food spots. There was a sign outside that said it was happy hour so I obliged. They have a full bar as well as vietnamese cocktails that profile popular food dishes throughout Vietnam. Had 4 cocktails and all were phenomenal. Also received a 15 perfect discount for happy hour.
One of the best cocktail bars that we have been to. We had planned to just drink a cocktail or two and move on to some other place but the cocktails were so outstanding that we ended up having 4 cocktails each. Outstanding place. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
On a recent trip, we visited many of Hà Nội's highly-rated cocktail establishments. Most were good and lived up to their reputations in one way or another. But there was one that truly outstanding. Nê Cocktail Bar. The majority of the drinks we had here were custom crafted, many made from locally-grown ingredients. All were interesting, flavorful, balanced, and well-crafted. I have been to bartender school and observed good technique exhibited by everyone behind the bar. But the highlight of Nê surely has to be the staff. Led by the talented and uber-nice Kim Uyên, they were approachable, friendly and helpful, often going into great detail about ingredients and recipes. By our second visit, it felt like we were family (and who doesn’t like to feel like family in a foreign land?) I’m a somewhat picky traveler who maintains pretty meticulous records, including a list called “Places I Look Forward to Visiting Again.” Guess the one place that made it to the Hà Nội list?
