The service here is excellent. What really impressed me is how differently they cater to each guest — your needs truly become their priority. I want to highlight Jun, who provided personalized service throughout my stay. I made dinner reservations, planned places to visit, and even handled travel needs through WhatsApp, and she always responded with care. Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choices: multiple types of bread, hot dishes, salads, and even vegetable sushi. The room was small, but honestly, in a humid country like Vietnam, the air‑conditioning became the feature I appreciated the most. It kept the room cool like a winter escape, and we slept comfortably under blankets every night. I’m giving this hotel 5 stars because the service, food, and room experience were all exceptional. It’s not Hyatt or Marriott style — it’s something better in its own way: personalized, genuine, and tailored to each individual.

We first stayed at La Siesta Classic Ma May in February 2025, and this recent stay from 8–9 May and 12–15 May once again reminded us why we enjoyed this hotel so much. From the very first day, it was a wonderful experience. By the second day, the team already recognised us, and throughout the stay they continued to extend such warm and friendly hospitality. Every level of service was excellent — from housekeeping, the doormen, management team, to all the staff at the breakfast restaurant. The breakfast experience deserves special mention. The food presentation was always classy and elegant, with a great variety of options. We especially enjoyed the classic spring rolls, the pho, and the Eggs Benedict, which was fantastic. Kudos as well to the chef and kitchen staff for consistently preparing such delicious food with great variety and presentation every morning. A very special thank you to Jun, who was always there whenever we needed assistance. I encountered a situation involving a lost item while I was out of the hotel, and although the item could not eventually be found, she genuinely tried her very best to help. Her care and sincerity were deeply appreciated. As this stay was also an intermediate stop before our trip to Sapa, Jun was also kind enough to share recommendations and places to visit in Sapa, which turned out to be very helpful. Overall, another memorable and comfortable stay. Thank you once again to the entire team at La Siesta Classic Ma May for the wonderful hospitality. We will definitely look forward to returning again.

Our stay at Le Siesta was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The location was perfect, the atmosphere was warm and peaceful, and the rooms were beautifully maintained, cozy, and comfortable. What made our stay extra special was the sweetest surprise by the staff — they clicked our picture and placed it on our breakfast table for us. Such a thoughtful gesture honestly made our day and created a memory we’ll never forget. A huge thank you to the entire team for the love, hospitality, and care. We enjoyed 3 days here in late March 2026 in a junior suite for the extra space at the end of our trip. The location was very central in the old quarter and walkable everywhere. The noise outside was minimal due to double glazing plus another glass layer as well - very effective. Breakfast was excellent with many choices and the efficient service team, including Anh - one of our favourites. We had a most enjoyable dinner there at the Red Bean restaurant one night and the food really was awesome. We enjoyed happy hour at their rooftop bar. The people working there were brilliant, especially An, who was an angel, She helped us out with all our questions and helped organise the hotel car (and super-safe driver) to the airport on our last morning. We were also very pleasantly surprised when we were presented with two breakfast boxes to have at Hanoi airport, as we were leaving early, before the restaurant opened. Overall, we would thoroughly recommend La Siesta Hotel, Ma May.

Absolute top notch service. Arrived at 0515 because the train got in early. Immediately were offered facilities, drinks and an early check in as soon as a room was ready (10:30, perfect after a walk around). Breakfast was amazing with something for everyone including a full sushi breakfast and salad bar. Rooftop bar has a nice atmosphere, even during a wild Thunder storm. The last day we could store luggage and were offered a shower in an empty room before the transfer to the airport. Nice location in the old quarter. Been to multiple five star hotels around the world. I would rate this amongst them.
