We had a wonderful stay at La Selva Hotel in Hanoi. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything you need. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. One thing we really appreciated is that there is always the possibility to leave your luggage at the hotel when needed, which made traveling around much easier. During our stay we needed a translator in Hanoi, and the hotel arranged this for us free of charge. We thought this was amazing service and it really shows how far they go to help their guests. Overall, it’s a fantastic hotel with outstanding staff. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend La Selva Hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi! ⭐

The hotel is located in a prime area of the Old Quarter, making it extremely convenient to explore major attractions, cafes, shopping streets, and local markets on foot. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with all basic amenities provided. Despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet and allowed for a good night’s rest. What truly stood out was the staff. They were exceptionally polite, helpful, and professional. From check-in to check-out, they were always ready to assist with local recommendations, transportation, and tour arrangements, which made the stay stress-free. The breakfast was good, offering a decent variety of options to start the day ( there is limited option for vegetarian). Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money and a warm, welcoming experience. I would highly recommend Hanoi La Selva Hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi, whether for leisure or business, and would gladly stay here again.

Walked everywhere so convenient! Place is older property but do there best . Cleaning staff needs to do a little better around the nightstand area. Old dust and hair found. Entered room on our check out date before we were done (ordered late check out) that was uncomfortable and not appropriate. The purpose was repotting of plants on patio ?! Could have waited until we were gone!

Stayed at Hanoi La Selva in July/August 2025. It’s very central in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, the colourful beautiful lake Hoan Kiem is just a short walk away as are the shopping market place - all a good experience. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean, bed was relaxing - air con was so good and refreshing cooling the room down beautifully. The bathroom was adequate to meet our needs. The breakfast restaurant offered good meals, staff were very friendly, as were the reception staff who were also welcoming offering good help to us as their visitors. As for getting our laundry done, drop that down to reception first thing in the morning and was back in the evening. Very impressed with our stay at Hanoi La Selva. Thank you Hotel La Selva

There was no window in our room, which resulted in a really damp and musty room, with no ventilation. The room was very small, it was difficult to walk around with the luggage. On the description it says there is a terrace/picnic exterior area, but it is a lie. When I asked about it, they said they meant I could go in the restaurant and open the window…or chill on the pavement by the front door…! It is quite pricy, worst hotel of all our Vietnam trip.
