I had a wonderful first experience in Hanoi. Ruby and Jacob at Hudson Room took excellent care of me and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. A special thank you to Mr. Vu, the Housekeeping Manager, for his support and warm hospitality. I truly appreciated his kindness and attention to detail. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Cherry, the Spa Manager, for sharing valuable information about Hanoi and for introducing me to the spa experience. Her recommendations and support made my visit even more enjoyable. I am very grateful for the warm welcome from everyone and have truly enjoyed my stay.

I had an amazing stay at Capella Hanoi. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with beautiful design and incredible attention to detail in every corner. The service was truly exceptional — every staff member was warm, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable. The room was luxurious, comfortable, and very well maintained. I also loved the dining experience and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It felt elegant yet welcoming at the same time. Capella Hanoi is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Vietnam. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable luxury experience in Hanoi.

I've dined several times at both Backstage Restaurant in the hotel lobby and The Hudson Rooms on the rooftop, and each visit has been a wonderful experience. The food is consistently delicious, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. A special thanks to Ruby and Jackie for their outstanding hospitality, attentiveness, and warm service. They truly make every visit memorable. I also highly recommend Backstage's new Cold Brew — it's incredibly refreshing and perfect for the summer. Definitely worth trying if you're looking for a great coffee experience!

My husband and I came for facial and massage treatments that I was able to book the day before arriving via email. The staff was very courteous and helpful booking the services we were interested in and timing them with our arrival. We saw the therapists Hoa Do and Lucy, and they were so incredibly excellent. I have received spa treatments across Europe and North America and this was the most peaceful, intuitive, and pleasant treatment I’ve gotten. Five stars!

This was an absolutely incredible hotel. We did a cruise in Ha Long Bay during our stay in northern Vietnam, and the plan had been one night at the Capella the night before our cruise and two nights at the Sofitel for the two nights after our cruise. But our single night stay at the Capella was so incredible that we actually canceled our stay at the Sofitel and booked with the Capella again. And we’re so glad we did! This hotel is gorgeous inside—it’s a Bill Bensley design that transports you right into the glamorous 1920s. The jazz soirée in the living room fit the theme perfectly, as did the floor and room names. We were upgraded to a suite that was larger than my college apartment. And it was well appointed and beautifully designed. The staff from the check in to the bar to the restaurants were also all fantastic—super responsive via WhatsApp before and during our stay, and attentive and friendly throughout. Breakfast was also incredible with some of the best made to order items we’d had at any of our luxury stays in Vietnam (highly recommend the mung bean sticky rice!). Hudson Rooms were also great Western food—we had the charcuterie, veal, and pasta and all hit the spot at the end of our 16 day stay in Vietnam. Finally, the spa is lovely and the massage I got from Hoa D was fantastic! We would return to Hanoi just to stay at this hotel again!
