The Parador de Granada a hotel in the most privileged of locations in Granada (within the walls of the Alhambra) met all of our expectations of the hospitality, design, and attention to detail we have grown to love of the Paradores. We stayed for two nights in a standard room which was comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed an incredible dining experience at the hotel’s restaurant which provides local/authentic fare. We also enjoyed the incredible breakfast which we highly recommend due to the somewhat remote location of the hotel. We would like to especially commend the reception desk hostess Cristina who helped us with tickets and Diego who helped us with reservations.

We stayed at the Parador de Granada in March 2026 and it was outstanding. You can't beat the location inside the Alhambra. The staff were friendly, helpful, and kind. Our room was modern, beautiful, and immaculate. Parking is expensive, but the hotel let us keep our car in the lot after we checked out while we explored the Alhambra at our leisure the next day. Highly recommended.

The hotel is great. This review is for the restaurant . PROS: Wait staff was great. Food was beautiful (see photos). Considering the location, price is very reasonable (€120: Iberian ham, croquettes, steak, monkfish, bottle of wine, and dessert) CONS: ambience is terrible—it’s like eating in a parochial school staff lunchroom (maybe that makes sense considering location?). The furniture is dated and uncomfortable. Softening the lighting and piping in some quiet background music would help. This is not a place to have a romantic dinner currently. ASIDE: perhaps a translation thing, but the veal tenderloin was not what is considered veal elsewhere. It was just beef. My steak was not cut evenly, was very chewy, and was consistent with a top sirloin in the U.S. All that aside, it tasted great, the chutney served with it was remarkable.

Lunch at the terrace restaurant. Incredible view is worth the cost of an average lunch that as others said is pricey. Service is fine if not fast, and it is friendly. Definitely recommend for the view and set expectations of the rest appropriately. Then you won’t be disappointed. I’d go again.

Fabulous, peaceful experience where you can enjoy incredible views of the Generalife away from the crowds. The service went above and beyond, making us feel special and spoilt during our holiday. Breakfast is well worth the money too.
