We enjoyed sitting outside in a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the apple wine was a nice touch. Definitely a great place to explore local cuisine—the typical green sauce was absolutely delicious!
Such a cosy, traditional restaurant offering hearty meals. We had a schnitzel with fried potatoes and Hirschgulasch as well as an Apfelstrudel for dessert. All food was absolutely delicious. It’s off the beaten path but this is what makes this place special!
Amazing place if you are looking for traditional German dishes. The place looks amazing, simple and the service was really good and quick.
Cozy place and good food for reasonable prices. Food prices may seem on the upper side, but the portions are large. And there is a good selection of dishes from Hessen. Naturally, they serve a nice Apfelwein. Nice place to go with friends or even alone. And also an option for tourists.
Service was top tier, felt very authentic and German food and atmosphere. This place deserves lines out the door. Great value for money and fantastic selection of traditional options.
