Don't dress to nice! Can't tell you how nice the club is. Dress coded for dressing too nice. Wouldn't let me in the door with a ticket. It was New Years Eve, so of course you're going to dress up. I had some jeans and band shirt and DC marten work boots in the car and changed into those quickly, but they still wouldn't let me in. I guess it's a ban for life for dressing up too nice once? I don't know. :( Too bad I'm going back to the U.S after new years and likely will never be able to visit again. :( Update: Reading other reviews where they didn't let the people in the club even with a id and ticket, makes me question weather the clothing was even an issue. I guess it just depends on the vibe of the security folks. Maybe they dislike certain types of people, I don't know. I wouldn't risk planning an evening around this anymore. Trance nighclub MTW and Robert Johnson both let me in with the nice clothes without any issue. I would suggest you consider these or other venues instead of Tanzhaus if you only have a few evenings to spend in Germany.
that truly depends on the party and the lineup. Before going, it’s worth checking their website or event listings. When they host strong DJs, the atmosphere can be fantastic and the crowd vibrant. However, the vibe is inconsistent. At times, it feels like a favorite spot for Frankfurt’s finance bros, which shifts the atmosphere. While they are making an effort toward inclusivity—especially with their awareness teams—the security staff is not always the friendliest. It’s also not the most queer-friendly space in the city, and it would be great to see more young and emerging DJs.
Tanzhaus Frankfurt is a fantastic destination for dance enthusiasts. With a diverse lineup of performances that range from contemporary to classical styles, it offers something for everyone. The venue is modern and inviting, creating a vibrant atmosphere for both spectators and participants. The talent on display is consistently impressive, making each visit a memorable experience. Whether attending a show or taking a workshop, Tanzhaus Frankfurt is a must-visit for anyone passionate about dance! 💃🏾
one of the best "clubs" I've been to, with many stages, very affordable prices and very nice events.
I aways went there and had a good time with the good music and ambient. But on 12/07/25 (Atelier Obskur event) I got the ticket online for double the normal price and I was blocked in the entrance due to the "wrong outfit". In the event page there was no information about it at all. Me and my friend asked refund and they never responded. Very sad experience, specially because I travelled a long distance to get to Frankfort for this club.
