The venue is divided into two sections by a large door. One side is the techno area, which is not very big, and the other side has a bar and a small chill-out space. The bartenders are quick, but due to the crowd you may have to wait a bit. It felt quite local to me. Smoking is allowed in the techno section, which can be unpleasant. I think it is a comfortable and open place for everyone, including LGBTQ+ individuals. From what I observed, people seemed free and relaxed. Having a female DJ was really cool, although it took a while for her to build up the energy and drop the beat. We arrived around midnight, and it was not crowded at first, but later there was barely space to dance. Overall, it is a decent place slightly above average and worth checking out.
The music and vibe might be great, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone who’s claustrophobic. The club floor is quite small and gets crowded quickly, which can make it feel a bit overwhelming. Definitely something to keep in mind if you prefer more open or spacious venues.
One of the best techno/house/jungle clubs in Frankfurt, no problems getting in and just all around a cool vibe. 7€ for students 12€ entry for the rest.
Its one of the best and easy going club in frankfurt. When have no idea just go here and you will be at peace. Last night we wandered around to 2 other clubs only to land back in Silbergold. If you are student its very cheap and if you earn its still cheap
Though it says LGBT friendly, it’s not the experience I made in terms of crowd. Apparently minding your own business while dancing in a somewhat revealing outfit is not ok. An aggressive German guy came up to me to tell me that up dress was not appropriate. Completely ruined my night. Not a safe place for LGBT.
