Had an overnight stay recently until I had to run to the Frankfurt airport to catch my flight. Offers 24/7 check-in and check-out and even online check-in on Booking.com. Wish they accepted cash but that wasn't a major issue. Staff was very friendly. They even accommodated my request for a last minute upgrade. There's a coffee station, mini mart available 24/7 within the facility and a running kitchen that offers meals throughout the day. I could not just recommend the hotel for a short overnight stay but even a slightly longer stay while you're touring within the city. It was a smooth experience overall and prices were very reasonable even for the upgrade.
Great place for a short stay close to the airport. The bar has a small but surprisingly good selection of beverages and simple food. Breakfast buffet was excellent, though egg selection was limited to hard boiled egg. They have only 1 from of communication, reception desk. The desk is staffed 24/7 but it sure would be nice to be able to call them instead of trudging down for simple requests. They have 2 simple choices for communication, Front Desk or None. Everyone very friendly.
I bought one night in dormitory room. Initially a bit scared, but very quiet and respectful people. Toilet and bathroom in the room but my plane was so early I didn’t take any chance making noise. I used the collective one downstairs. Price is really great. My rucksack slept with me. And I was super happy to « stuck » my glasses in the nice practical metal grid wall next to my bed. (Mine was labelled « F »). Staff utterly nice and efficient. All good. I will come back. 5 - 10 minutes from terminal x ( I don’t remember). Really no bad surprises. This hotel was recommended by airport.
I had stayed at your property every time I came to visit and take care of my elderly mother on nights prior to my departure flights back to the United States in the past. I did not even have to think twice about where to stay this past Saturday night and was looking forward to our stay. When I had tried to book the rooms, I had contacted your hotel because I needed to add breakfasts to our reservations for 2 rooms, plus I wanted to request an assessible room for my disabled husband and myself. I was told to make the changes online, which I finally managed to do (I am disabled and have a post traumatic brain injury and do not always understand things online or in paperwork and often need help). The changes were confirmed via email from your hotel, stating the UPDATES were successful and now listing the breakfasts as added to our room reservations for 2 rooms and 4 people from last Saturday onto Sunday. My brother-in-law and his wife arrived before us and I had tried calling the hotel to make you aware that the rooms were under my name, but were asked to pay for 4 rooms. When adding breakfast and trying to request a handicapped room, the system must have duplicated the reservation. The receptionist demanded payment for 4 rooms. Interestingly enough, the reservation confirmation I had received the morning of our arrival stated our reservations could be canceled free of charge until 6 pm of the day of arrival. It was well BEFORE 6 pm when I spoke to the receptionist. I conversed with her in English AND in my native German, but she did not seem to comprehend that my husband and I were still traveling by train to get to your hotel and our last train was not even scheduled to arrive at the Frankfurt Airport train station until about 5 pm. She first insisted I could come to the reception in about one hour to talk to her supervisor, not understanding that we were still 3 trains away. The receptionist then repeatedly asked me when I would get to the hotel. At that time, I was still on the platform in Remagen, waiting for our next train which was already delayed by 30 minutes. It made for a very frustrating travel experience talking to a receptionist who did not seem to understand my language (I was a teacher by trade and assure you, I know how to speak, read and write English and German), having to remind her over and over I could not possibly be there in one hour to talk to her supervisor, and who obviously either did not know or did not believe me when I read to her the free cancelation until 6 pm notation on the hotel's confirmation email from that same day. She insisted she could not help me. The lady finally said her supervisor would still be there early evening when I estimated we would get to the hotel. I used to be AGM of a Hilton hotel in Colorado in the United States, teaching and training new personnel. Before new receptionists were allowed to work the front desk unsupervised, I assure you they had to know the hotel's cancelation policies, speak kindly to guests and be welcoming. The lady I spoke to via WhatsApp on the phone Saturday, December 13th, 2025, regarding checking in for one of our rooms neither knew the cancelation policy, nor was she kind nor welcoming. It was a most unpleasant experience. My in-laws finally were able to check in, but first impressions count. They will not stay at your property again and neither will I. We were never approached by the supervisor with any kind of apology. The rooms were small, yet clean, but I did not get a handicapped room and was not able to climb into the stall to shower in the morning. My high notes would go to breakfast and the helpful friendly kitchen staff, as well as to the gentleman who staffed the front desk Sunday morning. My husband had misplaced one of his canes or walking sticks and this gentleman was so kind to help look for it. Sincerely, Ingrid Atkins Merrill
The good part: Clean room, I slept well. Some thought was put into the design. The bad: No kettle or tea in the room and tea cost a lot at the bar. Luggage keeping for an additional fee, even though the hotel is expensive and provides low value for money already.
