Our dinner at I'Brindellone was nothing short of spectacular. The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was absolutely fantastic — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and easily the best dinner we’ve had during our trip to Italy. A special thank you to Luca, our culinary guide for the evening, whose recommendations, hospitality, and passion made the entire experience unforgettable. From start to finish, everything was authentic, welcoming, and exceptional. If you’re in Florence, this place is an absolute must.
What an incredible experience. The food was delicious- we had the bisteca, fried zucchini blossoms, and the sausage and beans. The steak was a highlight for sure, as was the lively ambience, and patient and helpful staff. We would have tried to come back had it not been our last night. Make a reservation! You won't regret it.
Dined here yesterday. Great ambience, really friendly and attentive multilingual service. Tagliolini with butter and shaved truffles was well seasoned, creamy fragrant and delicious. Spaghetti alla chitarra with fresh tomatoes also had a great al dente texture and very flavorful. Both pasta dishes were served hot and fresh with a short waiting time. Peposo was so rich and flavorful, the taste of the wine used in the stew was really powerful and combined with the huge amounts of black pepper it is a uniquely Tuscan dish. They had a selection of house desserts and I chose the cantucci with vin santo and it was delicious. One big bottle of sparkling water was only 1 euro, probably the cheapest anywhere around. Only small imperfection was that the bread served as part of the coperto was cold, but it was still crispy and served as a great accompaniment to the peposo. Reservations highly recommended (by phone).
We walked in without a reservation to try out their famous Fiorentine steak. Luckily there was 1 open table and we dined there. The place has a cozy and homely feel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with ordering and recommending dishes. We had the 1kg Fiorentine steak and spinach pairing and house wine. Amazing food at amazing prices.
Looks Ike a local favourite, food was good! Came here for the set lunch 12 Euros, for water, wine, pasta, main and a side. Was disappointed that they were sold out of the tripe 😩. Will have to try out their dinner menu next time around.
