Went there with my parents for their anniversary dinner. We had anchovies on toast (which is what the restaurant is named after), risotto, sea bream and cod among other things. After 3 starters and mains we were very happy in our bellies. Also liked how aesthetic and hygenic the bathroom was. It matters after a few drinks. The staff was also very pleasant and courteous and also helped us call a taxi after we were done. Would definetly recommend this to tourist and local alike. 10/10
The anchovy pasta was the recommendation from our server and it was a great one , very unique taste and a must to try, the frito listo was very light fried and full of flavor
This place should be on your list. Everything we had was really good and fresh. From the anchovies to the fried zucchinis to the squid to the oisters, everything was REALLY good Service was very fast and the place is clean too
Delicious food, kind and attentive staff. We were in Florence 3 days and we had dinner here twice. Absolutely delicious. Worth every penny. About $110 including drinks & dessert for two.
By far, the best seafood dinner I can remember. And I have had many, all over the east and west coasts of North America especially. The grilled octopus was like high grade lobster. A very homey atmosphere with personable serving. A hidden gem, off the beaten track but near the tourist areas. It was recommended by the b&b suites we were staying in.
