Kind staff, delicious food. We went knowing it was mid-range prices and not “authentic” whatever that means coming from a foreigner, anyway. Staff were lovely and my lamb tagine was excellent. My mother enjoyed her lentil soup and mixed salad. The setting is just so refreshing and it feels great to sit in nature and relax.

Really enjoyed this quaint restaurant in the backstreets of the medina. We pre ordered the 1kg lamb leg which comes with vegetables tagine (an awesome side). This was plenty for the 3x of us, could have fed 4. We also tried the eggplant dip with cheese dip (a nice simple starter) and the Moroccon green salad (tomato and onion salad, ok, nothing special). For dessert the cream brulee with saffron unfortunately had a much too thick sugar too later that was difficult to break through and not the right texture at all. But all in all enjoyed the meal. The lemon sour drink was fantastic, service great (good English speaking) and reasonable pricing. We sat in the garden which was pleasently cool on a warm summers evening. Would go again!

We were able to get in for dinner around 745pm without a reservation after waiting for 10 minutes. Unfortunately we got placed in a room in back instead of the garden but it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall the food was pretty the good. I will say this. This is nothing against the restaurant but the surrounding Medina area in the late evening is a bit sketchy. It’s not very well trafficked by tourists and certain locals will be attempting to tell you that you’re going the wrong way or a road is closed making you somewhat confused and trying to “lead you back” for a hefty price at the end. Just be aware of your surroundings and ignore everyone.

Delicious food in a beautiful garden. You need a reservation if you want to sit in the garden. You also need to order certain dishes a day in advance if you want them. We did not know that, so I got the chicken pastilla, which I was told is the dish of the city. It was the best thing I ate my entire two week Morocco trip - absolutely delicious. The wait staff was really friendly. Highly recommend visiting here.

Beautiful atmosphere with cozy seating, lots of little nooks, and a fire pit that kept things warm on a chilly night. Cats wandering around added to the charm. The sardine salad was incredible—easily the best sardines I’ve ever had. I normally dislike canned sardines, but these were fresh and amazing. The meatball tagine was also excellent. The bread was a bit tough for my taste, and I wish they offered more options, but the food overall was fantastic. It’s located deep in the old Medina and can be hard to find—I had to hire someone to guide me in and out—but it was worth it. Edrees was very helpful and spoke English, and Omar was attentive. Food took a bit longer since everything is made fresh. Highly recommended if you’re in Fez and don’t mind the adventure getting there.
