We had a truly memorable dinner at Le Maison Bleue in the heart of Fes’s old town. Although we didn’t stay at the riad, the restaurant alone is well worth a visit. The setting is absolutely magnificent—a beautifully decorated Moroccan salon that creates an elegant and authentic atmosphere. The evening was made even more special by the live music, which was varied and perfectly set the mood without overpowering the experience. The food was outstanding from start to finish. We began with an assortment of eight hot salads, each one more delicious than the last. The chicken pastilla was divine, with perfectly balanced flavors and a crisp, golden crust. For dessert, we enjoyed a delicate pastry filled with cream, infused with rose water and topped with almonds—an unforgettable ending to the meal. The wait staff were warm, attentive, and very helpful in guiding us through the menu, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re in Fes and looking for a special dining experience, Le Maison Bleue is not to be missed.
Le Maison blue Riad is a wonderful, inviting place to stay in the old Medina. Khalid is a friendly and very knowledgeable and accommodating. Our room, Fatima, was lovely. We overlooked the atrium and enjoyed the musicians melodies. A very nice way to end a day. Highly recommend
The hotel is beautiful -- stunning rooms and general-use areas. Even better are the staff, who are friendly and helpful. When my friend and I arrived at La Maison Bleue, she was sick (and I was limping with a torn tendon). They took care of us like we were family members. On top of that, the restaurant food (and staff!) are first-rate. We stayed three nights and only went to the restaurant because it was so good. Highly recommended.
Blown away. So much history so beautiful. The staff is so warm and friendly. The food is fantastic. Dinner is worth it even if not staying in the riad. It’s also a great location right in the Medina with plant of options for food and exploring.
The Staff Service is outstanding; the location is very convenient to the old Madina; the food, including the dinners and breakfast is very authentic Moroccan cuisine; the nightly entertainment is fun; if you know Arabic, you would appreciate the Songs and the skillful Oud instrument mastery! The Rooms were cleaned daily and the towels were replaced daily. It is a repeat hotel for our Stay in the future.
