Incredible example of madrasa architecture. The geometry in this building is impressive. This historical building was where scholars and students came to study the Quran and seeing the rooms in which they lived is quite fascinating. The stalactite ceilings are particularly interesting to look at. This place is an amazing place to see traditional architecture in Morocco and how zellij and geometry is used to create a pristine space that was intended for scholarly pursuits.
Such a beautiful architectural monument. It is very well preserved and mesmerising design. Entrance fee is 20dh. Reception has friendly people.
Beautiful architecture. 20 dinar entry. They will let you enter unofficial even after closing.
No wonder it’s one of the most exquisite examples of Islamic architecture — truly worth a visit.
Nice Madrassa but a little crowded with tourists. There's upstairs as well with small windows looking into the central Madrassa courtyard
