Had the one person tasting fish menu. Food is amazing. Done to perfection. Location is prime in old town. I'm very happy with this meal!! Highly recommend to all
This was a wonderful culinary experience from start to finish, with expert precision in service, presentation and quality. Recommendations from Bosko helped me choose and he was right. He was an ever present waiter but equallly attentive to all his tables, a skill not all waiters possess. I had 3 courses, all equally delightful. The olive oil and balsamic to accompany the bread were taste sensations completely complimentary to the courses. I could go in and on... Highly recommend Proto as a must on a visit to Dubrovnik Old Town. PS I know it's pricey but, in the end, you get what you pay for. In this case, you come out the winner.
Nice hostess sat our party of 7 immediately without a reservation. Awesome server Niki made it special. All of our wine and food were excellent. Burger, pastas, oysters & salads.
We could not have be happier with the service, food and vibes at Proto! Highly recommend dining at this establishment!! I am vegetarian while my friend has no dietary restrictions. We shared the burrata starter and that cheese was absolute heaven. So smooth and gooey on the inside… exactly how I like it. My friend had the sea bass and I had the celery steak. She was supremely pleased with her fish. I adored the celery steak, too. It is always so much fun for me, as a vegetarian, to find something a little different on the menu. I had never had celery steak and I am now obsessed! We enjoyed a lovely bottle of plavic mali, too. I feel badly I cannot remember our server’s name but his timing and attentiveness were perfect. Also, we were dressed casually and had no problems with that.
