Fantastic experience at Konoba Dubrava! Everything was perfect – the service, the food, the atmosphere, and the music. A special thanks to our waiter Zdravko, who was incredibly friendly, professional, and made the whole experience even better. The food was outstanding. We had octopus, tuna steak, and a delicious seafood platter with small shrimp, anchovies, and other seafood specialties. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. We also enjoyed an excellent white wine – Miljas Malvasia Dubrovnik – which paired perfectly with the seafood. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, with lovely music and great service. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. If you love great seafood, good wine, and a true Mediterranean atmosphere, Konoba Dubrava is definitely worth visiting!
Great restaurant to combine with a sunset visit to Mount Srd (20-25 min walk or 5 min taxi ride). Order the peka ahead of time (octopus was a group favorite) which comes with delicious photos. Don’t miss the savory donuts (recommended by our waiter over bread service) and hope you get a serenade tableside! Note: a little hard to get a uber pick up home.
A fantastic dining experience in Bosanka! We had the cuttlefish peka and the veal & lamb peka, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, and the cuttlefish was perfectly cooked with rich, authentic flavors. You can really taste the traditional slow-cooked preparation. The service was excellent — warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout. The restaurant is located up the hill in the charming village of Bosanka, and it’s easy to reach by taking local bus 17 from the Old City. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a true Dalmatian peka experience!
Absolutely amazing experience at Konoba Dubrava! The food was truly outstanding – very authentic and incredibly delicious. We had the punjena pljeskavica and the biftek, and both dishes were absolutely finger-licking good. You can really taste the quality and tradition in the food. The atmosphere is beautiful, cozy, and authentic, with great music that perfectly matches the vibe of the place. We were also there with our dog, and it was absolutely no problem at all, whether sitting outside or inside, which we really appreciated. A special thanks to our waitress Nina, who was extremely friendly, professional, attentive, and welcoming throughout the entire evening. This place is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area. We would come back anytime!
Very lovely food . Lamb and octopus was delicious. I adored the fluffy doughnuts with cream cheese . ‼️IF YOU WANT PULA , ORDER IT AT LEAST THREE HOURS BEFOREHAND. ‼️Strudel was also tasty 😋. 🐼. A bit off a hike to get to !
