The Dubrovnik City Walls are an incredible way to experience the city’s history and beauty. The walk offers breathtaking views of the Old Town, the sea, and the iconic red rooftops. Fans of Game of Thrones will enjoy spotting locations featured in the series, which adds an extra layer of excitement. The walls are well preserved and rich in history, making the experience both scenic and educational. A must-visit when in Dubrovnik, though it can get quite busy during peak hours. Come as early as 8am to avoid crowds and book your tickets online to avoid long queue and not to waste your time.

The Dubrovnik city walls are fantastic and an excellent 2 to 3 hour leisurely walk. The view of old town and the sea from the walls is perfect. The entry is €40 per person, but I suggest buying Dubrovnik pass which is also €40 and gives you access to Dubrovnik city walls as well as a few other attractions such as Rector palace and museums.

Dubrovnik is absolutely beautiful and definitely deserves a 5/5. The old city, the stone walls, the sea views, and the historical atmosphere make it one of the most impressive places to visit in Croatia. The views around the city walls and the harbor are amazing, especially with the clear blue water and the old architecture surrounding everything. Walking through the streets and stairs of the old town feels very special — every corner has history, character, and a great photo opportunity. It can be crowded, especially during the day, but that is understandable because Dubrovnik is such a famous and unique destination. Even with the crowds, the experience is worth it. A must-visit city with incredible views, history, and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The Dubrovnik City Walls are a must-explore when visiting Dubrovnik. Fans of Game of Thrones shouldn’t miss it either, as several iconic scenes were filmed here. The entire walk is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views over the Old Town and the Adriatic Sea. If it’s a sunny day, make sure to carry water because it can get quite hot along the walls. It’s also better to book tickets in advance to avoid queues.

The most amazing beauty!! Must do if in Dubrovnik. The views are phenomenal. We started from The Ploce gate (near dominican monastery) and I will believe that is best to start. Pile gate starts with too many stairs and always crowded. If you start from Ploce gate the view is phenomenal right when you get up and you start the walk with the difficult climb till minceta tower. That stretch according to me haa the best views of the city and the water together. The cost is 40euros but with dubrovnik city pass it is included which is also 40€ but you get many more museums/ monasteries and rectar’s palace to visit along with it at the same price.
