I stayed at The Dean Hotel last weekend with my partner while we were in town for a concert at the 3Arena, and I can honestly say the experience exceeded all expectations. To start with, I had accidentally booked the wrong date (not the best way to kick off a trip), and I was absolutely convinced we’d be stuck trying to find somewhere else last minute. But from the moment we arrived, the staff handled the situation with such calmness, understanding, and genuine kindness that it completely turned things around. They didn’t make me feel awkward or stressed about the mistake at all—instead, they reassured us right away and went out of their way to sort everything. I really can’t emphasize enough how incredible the team was. Every single person we interacted with was warm, patient, and genuinely eager to help. It didn’t feel like they were just doing their job—it felt like they actually cared about making sure we had a good stay. They were friendly without being overbearing, professional but still very personable, and they made what could have been a stressful situation feel effortless. Because of them, what started as a bit of a panic turned into such a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The atmosphere in the hotel was great, and knowing we were being looked after so well made the whole weekend even better. We left feeling genuinely grateful for how we were treated. It’s rare to come across that level of hospitality, and it really made a lasting impression. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone—especially if you want somewhere with not just a great vibe, but a team that truly goes above and beyond.
I was in Dublin for the night on business, staying at Dean Dublin on Harcourt Street. As a Limerick blow-in, I loved being right in the middle of the city. The hotel has a really slick vibe and a cool atmosphere that feels fresh and lively. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooftop bar, Sophie’s, was a nice spot to unwind and take in the city view. And of course, the shower was brilliant — the shampoo and conditioner smelled amazing and left my hair feeling soft and fresh. A proper little treat for a one-night stay.
We had our civil wedding ceremony at The Dean Hotel in September, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the hospitality and flexibility of the entire team were outstanding. GM Dave and the events team were an absolute pleasure to work with—professional, warm, and incredibly accommodating—making the whole planning process feel effortless. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for: upscale yet cosy, with a welcoming atmosphere that made our day feel both special and comfortable. We stayed overnight, and our room was excellent—beautifully designed, quiet, and the perfect place to unwind after a big day. The food after the ceremony was fantastic, and the breakfast the next morning was just as good. We would happily recommend The Dean Hotel to anyone looking for a stylish, intimate venue paired with genuinely brilliant service. It was everything we hoped for and more - 5 stars.
Used to be our choice of hotel for a special occasion but sadly, we won't be coming back. Room we got smelled, it was damp - Had to sleep with the window open. It was a booked out night due to a wedding so, they couldn't offer us another room. We got offered a courtesy breakfast, but we had a booking in another place already so we couldn't avail. I was expecting it to be addressed again in the morning but instead they rang the room at 11:30 reminding us check out is approaching which was a bit obnoxious given an already uncomfortable night. Reception didn't mention anything during check out and there was no "how was your stay?" just "that's it, thanks" .. It was a busy night, we understand that but every customer is there to have a nice time. We didn't. The standard has definitely dropped, down to maintenance of the rooms, overall cleanliness and service.
We stayed in The Dean Dublin for a concert last November, and from start to finish it was an amazing experience. When we arrived, we were a little early, but the team were so accommodating. They prepared one of our rooms straight away so we could offload our bags and get settled — such a helpful start to the stay. We had dinner booked in Sophie’s Rooftop, which has the most stunning views. It was the perfect setting for a catch‑up with the girls. Our food arrived quickly, and we really appreciated the recommendations from the staff. The cocktails were delicious, and our waitress never let our water glasses go empty. She checked in with us constantly to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The rooms were fantastic. A big bonus for me (a perpetually cold creature!) was the hot water bottle. I usually bring my own but forgot it this time, so discovering that every room comes equipped with one was such a cosy surprise. The bed was really comfortable, and the adjustable heating made the room perfectly snug. Breakfast the next morning was another highlight. There was such a great variety that it was almost hard to choose. Everything arrived quickly and piping hot, and we left with full bellies and ready for the day. A big shout‑out to the GM, Dave, who met us that morning to make sure everything had been to our satisfaction. That personal touch was genuinely appreciated. Thank you for a fantastic stay — we will definitely be back! 😊
