We had 2 side salads and a pizza here for lunch. Service was quick and efficient. The side salads were delicious with a vinaigrette type dressing that wasn’t too calorific! We had the Vesuvius pizza. The hot peppers weren’t hot at all :). But it was a tasty and freshly made pizza and hit the spot for us. This restaurant is small but offers decent value in an expensive area of the city, Highly recommend if you have a pizza craving while in this part of town!!
During our two-day stay in Dublin, my girlfriend and I visited the Sano Pizza on both evenings - and for good reason. The pizza is really excellent and stands out clearly from classic variants. It is especially recommended to get involved in new creations instead of staying with the standard pizzas - you will be more than positively surprised. The vegan pizza with pumpkin and truffle mayonnaise was an absolute highlight, as was the Mediterranean version. The bruschetta are just as brilliant and definitely worth recommending. In general, the prices for Dublin standards are surprisingly favourable, especially compared to other pizzerias such as Bambino. Despite the high quality, the waiting times were very short, which makes the visit additionally pleasant. Another highlight is the homemade strawberry lemonade - especially if you order and share it in the carafe. It has a light, fresh strawberry flavour with a subtly tart note and is incredibly inexpensive. The ambiance in the restaurant is relaxed and welcoming, and the friendly staff completes the experience. It is also positive that individual needs such as allergies are taken into account. Whether for a cosy meal on site or take-away - the concept works excellently in both directions. Especially the "Bake at Home" offer is a brilliant idea and definitely worth a try. Overall, a clear recommendation for all those who want to enjoy exceptionally good pizza at fair prices in Dublin.
Received recommendations to come here from an Italian friend. We were a big group of 10 and we called a couple of hours ahead as it was a last minute plan, and so it took us over an hour to get a table for all of us. The vibes were great; you can see the pizza being baked in the wood-fire oven. Had the margherita pizza and the cream of mushroom pizzas. Margherita was classically lovely, you get what you expect and it was good. The cream of pumpkin was divine and one of the best pizzas I had! I was worried about it being sweet but it was delightfully savoury. Even some of our meat-eating friends said it was the best option on the table! Highly recommend getting it even if you're not a vegan :)
this is my new favourite italian in the city ⭐ they do neapolitan pizza (which is objectively the best pizza) and everything is so so so delicious. we tried: • focaccia dippers with garlic sauce - incredible, the sauce was so flavourful and reminded me of spain (very similar to allioli
We were in Dublin on St. Patrick's Day and wanted to try Italian pizza. We found this place where you live the Italian climate and you eat very well, there are top quality ingredients and perfect service, in particular we were served by Gioele, a nice waiter, helpful and carefull. I'm coeliac and I tried gluten-free pizza, I recommend it.
