The RHA is a wonderful place to see up and coming Irish artists. Entry is free. There are extensive gallery spaces on multiple floors showing paintings and sculptures. The art on display is impressive, and during my visit, all of it was available for purchase. Prices ranged widely from under 800 Euros all the way to 10,000 Euros. I highly recommend a visit. Also, it's a reasonably close walk (10 minutes) if you also want to see the National Gallery in the same day.
Great gallery with contemporary art :) Spacious and usually not very crowded, so can really enjoy it at your own pace. Exhibitions often change, meaning that almost every month you can find something interesting. Another plus that it’s free.
I think this one is the best art gallery in Dublin (I've seen them all). I love contemporary art and the pieces displayed here are beautiful, creative and thought provoking. I will be back
Came down from Armagh to see the Annual Exhibition. It was incredible. The variety and quality was exceptional. The exhibition is a free event that artwork can be seen over 2 floors. Catalogue is €20. As that has the prices of the artwork. I'm not sure where you would park if you took a car?
Visited this year's exhibition and it did not disappoint! It always fills me with delight, wonder and exasperation! Because if the huge eclectic range of art, photographs, pottery and constructions their is something for everyone! What may delight me may not move you and what seems like "emperor's new clothes" to me may be just what you like! Have a look at the photos I've taken and then go to the exhibition and find have your own wonderful and surprising experience! It's free and fun!
