I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Numbers 31 in Dublin. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, stylish, and effortlessly welcoming. The room was truly one of the most beautiful I’ve ever stayed in—elegantly designed, spacious, and filled with thoughtful details that made it both luxurious and comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was simply outstanding. Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was a standout—bright, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the day. It’s rare to find a place where breakfast feels this special. Numbers 31 is a true gem in Dublin. Between the stunning rooms and the exceptional breakfast, it’s an experience I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something memorable and a little bit special.

Disappointed by this hotel given the high review scores. It's not actually a hotel, it's a B&B. It lacks the usual amenities of a hotel such as a staffed bar, restaurant, gym, pool, etc. The reception / waiting room is really the only space outside of the bedrooms and it's pretty small. While nicely decorated, it is not a 4 star hotel experience, rather a decent B&B. The room itself was quite small, there were suspect stains on the bed runner, the shower badly needed caulked as it was all black mould, the shower sprayed onto the floor so you needed to put a towel down to soak it up. The TV had about 5 channels, no Netflix or international channels. The room only had 1 roll of toilet paper and we had to ask for more (that's a first!). No air conditioning. No iron. The door lock was stiff and had trouble getting the key in. The bed was pretty comfy however. The breakfast was good, although not as amazing as reviewers had led us to believe. We had full Irish and it was pretty basic - cheap white toast rather than sourdough, small sausages, no mushrooms or beans... you'd get better at a decent cafe. Bowl of fruit and some cake was a nice addition but it did not justify the room price. Location was good, a 15 minute walk to the centre, and staff were friendly. Nowhere at reception to hang a suit - no coat hooks or hangers - we just had to leave our bags at the reception desk which just didn't give a quality vibe. Overall we were a bit disappointed given the glowing reviews and 4 star hotel claim.

Nicest hotel in Dublin! You must stay here! They gave us an upgraded room and we didn’t even ask for it. Calming dimmer lights in the room. Beautiful lounge area with a fireplace and a small honor bar. The courtyard had a lovely flaming fire pit. The weather as a bit chilly and windy. Delia’s breakfast is included in the cost of your room. Delicious tradition Irish options. The fresh squeezed orange juice was a delight to my pallet! Delia even offered to help us get a uber to the airport. Walking distance from several restaurants. MATT, THE THRASHER, was great for seafood. Treat yourself to Number 31!!!

Hotel Number 31 is an absolute gem! The service, the breakfast, and the rooms were exceptionally good. We felt so comfortable and welcome that we actually ended up booking a second stay at the end of our trip through Ireland. We are officially hooked and will definitely be 'repeat offenders' from now on! A huge shout-out to the incredibly friendly, excellent, and super professional team who made our stay so special. If you're looking for perfection in Dublin, this is it. We’ll be back!

This was our first stay at a boutique hotel and it was overall worth the splurge. We stayed in the townhouse rather than the mews, at the recommendation of a friend, and found the decor there charming. The room could benefit from a more thoughtful furniture plan, as it was necessary to move large chairs to turn on the floor lamp or adjust the curtains. We were traveling for two weeks and would have appreciated a small dresser, a hook or two, and lots of hangers (we did ask for more and were brought 2, but as there were no hooks in the room we were still short on places to hang our constantly wet outerwear). A firmer pillow option would also have been great; I ended up sticking a chair pillow into a pillowcase because the pillows were so insubstantial my neck began to hurt. However, the bed was extremely comfortable, service was friendly, the ambience in our room and throughout the hotel was elegant, and the location was excellent for exploring Dublin on foot. We appreciated the beautiful courtyard despite the weather. I personally rather liked the vibe of communal tables at breakfast, though I can understand some travelers preferring separate tables. Thanks for an overall lovely stay.
