All very good. Central location with easy walk to the Liffey. Breakfast is filling and reasonably priced. Beds are comfortable. Common library is ideal for computer work. Lots of restaurants in the area. Welcome drink appreciated.
We stayed at the Moxy Dublin for four nights. The location was convenient and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. However, be aware that the rooms are extremely small and cramped for two people. On our first night, I injured my leg getting out of bed after hitting a chair that was positioned very close to the bed with limited walking space which resulted in a massive bruise that affected the remainder of our trip. After reporting the incident, the front desk offered to move us to a larger room with two beds. We packed up our belongings before leaving for the day, but when we returned, the new room was only slightly larger and still had one bed. While the staff did try to accommodate us, the room change did not address the space issue. Pros: Friendly staff Good location Modern, clean hotel Cons: Very small guest rooms Tight furniture layout with limited clearance around the bed No refrigerator in the room No gym/fitness center Overall, the hotel may work well for solo travelers or those who plan to spend very little time in their room. For couples, travelers with multiple suitcases, or anyone who values room space and amenities, it may feel quite cramped.
We spent two nights here on a layover. This was probably our fourth or fifth time staying in Dublin. Loved the convenience and location of this hotel. The hotel was surprisingly quiet on Saturday night and Sunday night. Aware of is that on the weekdays construction starts at 7 AM as they’re building a structure right next to the hotel.
Good location - accessibility is good. It’s my 2nd stay here for 3 nights. However they could do more on service. I’m checking out on the 1st Feb returning back plan to check in on the 4th Feb - but they cannot keep my 1 luggage back while I’m away 3 days.
As a Marriott Bonvoy ambassador this is by far the worst room I have ever booked. The rooms have no closet to speak of just a wire mesh rack on the wall to hang your clothes and not a single drawer to put anything so you are in essence living out of your suitcase. also, no safe, and no microwave. I have traveled all over the world for my job always with Bonvoy and this is the first Marriott that I have experienced that does not have streaming TV service. The front desk could receive a refresher course in customer service and I am sure this hotel is tailored to a much younger demographic. my advice is for the money you could do much better in a sprawling city like Dublin.
