My best friend and I visited Glas to celebrate her birthday. The food was absolutely phenomenal with an extremely well priced lunch special. The flavours were unique and bold. The Wine and cocktails were also divine. The atmosphere here is quiet and welcoming and the staff are extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back!

I went for my birthday last weekend and the experience was wonderful. The service and attention to detail from the staff were truly outstanding. The dishes are absolutely delicious. I especially want to highlight the service from the waitress who took care of our table and provided detailed information about each dish — Malena. She was very kind and warm. I highly recommend this place!

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. They seem to be taking advantage of the fact that vegetarian/vegan places are scarce in Dublin. Full disclosure: I ate here once in 2024 and it was lovely. So last night, I went in with high expectations. We paid €65 per person (two courses + one drink each + 2 polenta fries) and left the restaurant hungry. Also note that they pre-charge €20 per person “for confirming your booking” before you even set foot in the restaurant. I understand it’s a small plate/fine-diningish place but the portions are ridiculously small and they lacked flavour and substance. The textures didn’t work, things were either too dry or felt boiled and just put on a plate haphazardly. The dishes didn’t really taste fresh and a lot of the flavours just did not work. Both my friend and I had to send back our zuchinni main dish. The zuchinni was incredibly bitter (which does happen from time to time due to the vegetable itself) but also there was literally 3 tiny pieces of boiled zuchinni on the plate. The broth it came with tasted off. Gave 3 stars for the service because they proactively checked in how we were doing and changed our main dishes. What came instead (saffron fennel) was okay, edible, but felt again boiled and nothing special. Drinks were mieh but definitely not worth the super high price tag. It still has a nice ambience/decor to be fair which is why I gave 2 stars. Will not be back and we are thanking the pizza place around the corner that gave us the sustenance we needed eventually.

A gorgeous and great value dining experience. The staff are very attentive and the food is well thought out and presented. A real treat for a vegan like myself, and my non-veggie partner also thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect for a special occasion.

I don’t usually write reviews but honestly, we ate here last October and I had some carrots that changed my life. I think I’ll still be thinking about them for many years to come. Divine. I should also mention, we had a fantastic waiter who took excellent care of us and I really felt like he was trying to make the most of our experience. Would highly recommend to anyone (especially vegans) visiting Dublin. Truly lovely!
