We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at F.X. Buckley Pembroke Street. Our group of six ordered four fillets, one rib-eye, and one striploin, along with pretty much every side dish on the menu to share. Everything was outstanding. The steaks were cooked perfectly to each person’s preference and the quality of the meat was exceptional. Every side dish complemented the meal beautifully and was prepared to the same high standard. We also enjoyed two excellent wines with our dinner — a Languedoc Malbec and a Ripasso Valpolicella — both of which paired wonderfully with the steaks. What really completed the experience was the attentive and professional service. The staff were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating throughout the entire evening. Without a doubt one of the best steakhouse experiences we’ve had in Dublin. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return!

Service was kinda slow, we were sat down at 6:15pm, done with the appetisers at 6:45pm, but mains were not out until 7:30pm. Chicken was nice!! But sadly it was the only nice thing for the night 🥲🥲🥲 Most of the foods were kinda bland (cod, side dishes fries and mash potatoes), could use more seasoning. The steak, we ordered medium rare, ribeye was okay. The sirloin was overcooked the first time. Waitress got it changed for us and the second one came out rare on the inside and burnt on the outside 🫠🫠🫠 Oh wells… not coming back again. Not sure why the reviews here are this high.

Absolutely gorgeous meal. We got the Caesar salad to start. This was good. Then for the main, we got the porterhouse to share. Where do I begin…the steak was like butter. Cooked to perfection. Every single side that came with it paired perfectly. Everything was melt on the tongue gorgeous. We ate everything we could as it was just divine. As we came here for our anniversary, they brought out a little dessert plate. This was a lovely gesture and so appreciated. Would highly recommend coming here for a proper steak cooked to perfection.

Really nice! Charming little restaurant, possibly the best service we had in Ireland. Very responsive and quick!!! (usually I wouldn't care for much attention, but Ireland is notoriously slow service. Most places leave you waiting for the bill even after you ask). Cocktails were great, meat was perfection! All the bang for the buck.
