A small, lovely restaurant with a cozy, living-room feeling and very warm, attentive service. You feel welcome right away and can truly relax for a while. The food is made with great care, balanced flavors and creative ideas using simple, high-quality ingredients. Honest, inspiring and highly recommended. A little smile along the way: the cutlery is served from the left … just a habit, we were told, and it fits perfectly to the authentic spirit of this place ;)

Tasting menu: The razor clam was nicely presented and good but was very disappointing in terms of texture. The seeded bread was still warm and the cultured butter was yum! The rest of the courses were much much better and were really good and special mention to the execution when it comes to cooking fish and seafood related dishes. The sauces you have with the scallops and the cod were unreal. Just a small note on the cod, I didn’t really see/taste the liquorice so that was a bit confusing. Perhaps this is because I’m French but some bread would have been to avoid wasting those delicious sauces/jus. The meat dish was very well cooked and so tender! I wish the waitress had left the jus/sauce and had given some bread to soak up the sauce. The dessert was nice and surprising. Loved the yuzu sorbet it was very refreshing and I love how bold it was by integrating ginger and artichoke however I was really disappointed as a ginger lover I didn’t have the kick from the ginger at all. The petit four (hazelnut financier) was nice as well. The service a bit rushed at the beginning we had the bread and butter served without even knowing whether we were going to get the wine pairing or not. It was a bit too quick for us, this is maybe due to restaurant having 2 services on Saturday night. Overall the service was still good and we got very clear explanations on the dish/wine. This was for a birthday celebration and although this was mentioned in the reservation this was almost missed, thankfully my partner reminded them when I went to the bathroom.

i was here yesterday night to enjoy an amazing dinner with a friend of mine, it’s been a great experience. as first point you can breathe a very peaceful and cozy atmosphere, perfect lights and the volume of the music perfect as well. the food was an explosion of flavours for every course we were tasting and i appreciated a lot the match with wines, one different for every dish. i really raccomanda this place, i’ve never been before in a one michelin star but i can’t look forward to go again to taste the next new menu!! i forgot to mention that i had lactose intolerance and they brought me different dishes every time, were incredible! and Danilo our amazing waiter was always paying attention to us and to our needs.

Recently visited with my friends as we wanted to beat the Xmas rush dining. This was our second time in Bastible, and once again an unforgettable experience! The good was delectable! All the dishes carefully designed to really awaken your taste buds! Couldn't tell u which one was my favorite as they were all superb! If u go I recommend to go for the wine pairing which complements the dishes beautifully!

Great spot for a birthday celebration. The vibe is very cozy—ideal for couples. We chose the set menu with wine pairing, and each dish was outstanding. To top it off, we received a complimentary birthday dessert that tasted amazing.
