Absolutely incredible! Never been to a bar or had an experience like it before. Not only were the cocktails the best we’ve ever had, the staff’s knowledge around the drinks was second to none - and made it so easy for us to find a drink we loved. They even gave us celebratory champagne for us just getting married. Will definitely be returning and telling all of our friends who visit Dublin to stop by ❤️
My last night in Dublin was spent at BAR 1661, enjoying some truly amazing cocktails. Every drink I had been looking forward to exceeded my expectations, and I was especially impressed by the cocktails recommended by the bartender, which perfectly matched my tastes. My only mistake tonight was not asking for his name. I’d love to thank the Australian bartender who used to live in the UK. He was incredibly attentive, took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, and made thoughtful recommendations throughout the evening. His hospitality and expertise made my final night in Dublin a memorable one. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
If you like cocktails you have to experience this - book your table! An interesting little place in one of the oldest parts of Dublin, really helping with the regeration of the area. Service was spectacular, a conversation about each drink, taking the time to make sure we had the right match of drinks with our personal preference. Each drink was really well presented and tasted great with top quality ingredients.
One of the best bars for handcrafted poitin based amalgamations and drinks. Cocktails and classics were really superb and they have a very extensive curated list of drinks and a very beautiful looking cocktail menu book. Loved the place drinks and just the vibe. Highly recommend it. For cocktail aficionados this is a must visit place
Had two truly delicious cocktails, both presented and explained in depth by the bartenders. Clearly very knowledgeable and masters of their craft. I would have gone for a third if it wouldn't have put me under the table.
