Lovely experience at The Meat Co. Souk Al Bahar. The slow-braised beef short ribs were tender and flavorful, the peri-peri boneless chicken was delicious, and the beef boerewors was excellent. The ambience was great and the outside view made it even better. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

The staff were welcoming, polite, helpful, and highly entertaining, which set a great tone initially. The atmosphere was superb, complemented by a stunning view of the Burj Khalifa. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious bread and butter, and the entrée platter for sharing comes highly recommended. ​However, the main course was a major disappointment. Based on the staff's recommendation, we ordered the Wagyu beef (marbling score 5+). Given the premium price point and the reputation of the venue, the quality was shockingly substandard and nowhere near a 5+ grade. We tried to see maybe we are missing something, however after agreeng on this point with my friend we informed our server that the steak did not meet expectations. While we were told a manager would come over to address the issue, we waited for more than 30 minutes and no one ever approached us, except for paying bill. ​We ultimately decided to cut our evening short and leave. To receive substandard food with zero follow-up or apology completely ruined what was meant to be a special birthday dinner.

The Meat Co. in Dubai offers a fantastic dining experience. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with excellent, professional staff. Despite being a large group , there were no delays at all with ordering, drinks, or food—the kitchen and service team did a tremendous job. The food was excellent, very well presented, and cooked perfectly. Drinks were also great and complemented the meal well. A special touch was the staff playing African drums at certain moments, which was very entertaining and added to the overall experience. Highly recommended and definitely worth a visit.

Food was very delicious. Had the Wagyu beef burger that came with chips. Very flavoursome and filling. Special thanks to Mr Morris who had served us. Only let down is the constant prey of birds outside, we had to move inside to eat which was fine but would have been even better outdoors.
