We stayed in this hotel for Eid Al addha holiday as I really wanted to experience rooftop pool and I must say it is exceptional pool and breathtaking view. Room also had amazing terrace, Burj Khalifa view, we took marina view room.. staff were generally nice especially reception guy Adam. What we didn’t like was no iron in the room and cocktails on the rooftop pool were very bad. Poor selection and poor preparation and for 87 aed you would expect more. Definitely something that should be improved in the future.

I was impressed by the elegance and refinement of the property and its hospitality during my recent stay at The Lana, Dorchester Collection Dubai — truly exceptional. Coincidentally, my visit fell just days before my upcoming birthday, and during breakfast at Riviera I was unexpectedly surprised by the maître d’, Nanouka, with a specialty from the menu, a candle, and a Riviera keepsake. I appreciated the thoughtful gesture, perfectly aligned with the hotel’s refined style. What made the experience even more meaningful was a conversation we had the day before about music. After learning I enjoy classical music and play the piano, Nanouka mentioned her fellow native Georgian composer, Giya Kancheli. I later mentioned to her that I had listened to and enjoyed Kancheli’s work but couldn’t find piano scores. She thoughtfully followed up on her own initiative and surprised me with links to several of them. That level of attentiveness — personal, cultured, and genuinely engaged — reflects a rare and memorable kind of hospitality. A note of thanks to Renel at the Concierge desk for his attentive assistance with my travel arrangements, handled with professionalism and care. Outstanding experience in every sense.
