Fantastic Shopping Experience at the Waterfront Market Visited the Waterfront Market recently and had an amazing shopping experience. Since many of the individual internal shops are not listed on Google Maps, I am sharing a detailed breakdown of my visit here Unique Eggs & Dairy Section: My first stop was the egg market, and I was amazed to see a huge variety, including Ostrich eggs, Emu eggs, country eggs, and Duck eggs. I bought fresh duck eggs and authentic local Laban from one shop. Right next to it, I picked up some high-quality, pure Ghee from another shop. Excellent quality Vibrant Fruits & Vegetables Market: Located just nearby, this section offers an incredible variety of produce. They have fresh baby cucumbers and long cucumbers perfect for salads, grapefruits, various types of rare fruits, and a wonderful selection of berries. You can see the amazing variety in the photos I’ve attached Self-Service Ice Cream Shop (Basement Parking Area): Located near the basement parking, this ice cream shop is a must-try. It’s a self-service concept where you can scoop your own ice cream and add toppings/nuts as you like. The pricing is just 2 AED per 100 grams! I took a large box weighing around 300 grams. The ice cream was absolutely delicious—both I and my kids loved it Highly recommended destination for fresh food lovers and families! 🥚🥛🍓🍦
This fish market stands out immediately for its cleanliness and comfort—something you don’t always expect from a seafood environment. The entire space is fully air-conditioned, which makes browsing and shopping much more pleasant, especially given the nature of fresh seafood. The floors, counters, and display areas are all well-maintained, and there’s a noticeable effort to keep everything hygienic and organized throughout the day. One of the most enjoyable aspects of shopping here is the flexibility in pricing. Customers are welcome to haggle, and the vendors are open to reasonable negotiations, creating a lively yet friendly marketplace atmosphere. Rather than feeling pressured, you’ll find the sellers to be polite, approachable, and genuinely helpful. They’re happy to answer questions, offer recommendations, and ensure you get good value for your purchase. The selection of seafood is impressive, with a wide variety of fresh fish, shrimp, crabs, and other shellfish displayed neatly on ice or kept in clean tanks. Everything looks fresh and high-quality, which adds confidence to your buying experience. The setup allows you to easily compare options and choose exactly what you need without feeling overwhelmed. Beyond the seafood section, the market also features other stores, including a well-stocked vegetable produce area. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and vibrant, making it convenient to complete your shopping in one place. Overall, this market combines cleanliness, comfort, variety, and excellent customer service, making it a standout destination for both regular grocery runs and specialty seafood shopping.
I visited Waterfront Market recently and really enjoyed walking around the place. It’s lively, spacious, and full of energy, but at the same time well organized and easy to navigate. There’s a great variety of fresh produce, seafood, meat, fruits, and spices, so even just browsing is interesting. What stood out to me most was the freshness of the products. You can actually see and feel the quality, especially in the fruit and seafood sections. Some vendors are happy to explain what’s best that day, which makes the experience more engaging rather than just shopping. The market feels clean and well maintained, considering how busy it can get. Prices are generally reasonable, especially when compared to supermarkets, and it’s a good place if you like choosing ingredients yourself instead of buying pre-packed items. I also liked the overall atmosphere—it feels local and authentic, yet comfortable for visitors. Whether you’re shopping seriously or just stopping by out of curiosity, it’s an enjoyable place to spend some time. If you’re interested in fresh ingredients or want to experience a different side of Dubai, Waterfront Market is definitely worth a visit.
Lovely place and incredible vibes. economical prices for fruit, veg and fish. Also great for a quick snack at the Taksim Bakery with their fresh Manakeesh. Lots of space to park. The spice markets are my favourite, you can get the best cardamom, cinnamon and more. Beautiful sea view too.
One of the biggest food markets in Dubai — you’ll find everything here, from fresh vegetables and fruits to fish, meat, and all kinds of spices. It’s a great place for bulk shopping or just exploring local flavors. You can get down at Abu Hail or Gold Souk Metro Station, then take a taxi to the market (it costs around AED 15). Very convenient and worth a visit!
