What a lovely place! The ambiance is cozy and intimate, making it perfect for a date night. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the experience. The Wagyu steak was cooked perfectly, exactly as requested. The food was excellent overall—the four-cheese dip is a must-try, and the Caesar salad was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended, and I would definitely visit again!

Had an amazing experience at Hunter Barrel. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and everything came out perfectly. What really made the night special was the outstanding service from Jackie. She was very friendly, attentive, professional, and made sure our table had everything we needed throughout the evening. A big thank you to Jackie for the excellent hospitality and for making our dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely one of the best service experiences I’ve had. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again!

Hunter & Barrel in Emirates Hills is a gem for steak lovers. The venue is spacious and stylish, with both smoking and non-smoking areas, making it a comfortable spot whether you’re there for lunch or dinner. I actually visited twice this week—once for lunch and once for dinner—and both times the service was outstanding. Our waiter, Gold, deserves special mention for being super polite and for his spot-on drink recommendations that elevated the whole experience. Now onto the food: • Flamed Prawns – extremely delicious, full of flavor. • Brisket Bao – soft, flavorful, and a great starter. • Beef Tartare – extraordinary, one of the standout dishes. • Hunter’s Sharing Platter – highly recommended if you want to try a bit of everything from the starters. Absolutely delicious and worth it. For the mains, we went for the Ribeye Grain-Fed Wagyu and the Striploin Grain-Fed Wagyu, both cooked medium to perfection. Served with chips, asparagus, and wild mushrooms, these steaks easily rank among the best in town. Overall, Hunter & Barrel delivers not just on quality but also consistency—great food, amazing service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to return. Definitely one of the top spots in Dubai for a proper steakhouse experience.

We recently celebrated my wife’s 38th birthday and our 2nd wedding anniversary at Hunter & Barrel, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Richard, who looked after us brilliantly on the evening. The service was attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling over the top. He made the evening feel personal and memorable, which we truly appreciated. The food was absolutely incredible, perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with real care and quality ingredients. Every dish delivered warm and presented well, we got the 250g SA fillet steak! If you’re looking for a place with well priced quality food, I would highly recommend Hunter & Barrel. We’ll definitely be back. (Small suggestion - lightening doesn’t need to go SO low, and music doesn’t need to go so loud. The ambience was perfect at 5pm)

Hunter & Barrel knows exactly what it’s doing. The tomahawk? Perfectly grilled, beautifully glazed, and an absolute showstopper. Service was sharp and seamless, and the desserts made sure we didn’t leave early (or with any self-control). Great food, great service, no notes. Will be back.
